Job Responsibilities

· In charge of Design Team to carry out façade design works.

About the role:

The Chemist assists the Quality Control Manager in the management of projects and daily operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage and maintain equipment operation, calibration, preventive maintenance.
• Liaise with vendors for troubleshooting and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Prioritize and allocate laboratory (project) operations and workflow so that the laboratory’s equipment and resources are used efficiently, and work schedules and targets are met.
• Research, evaluate and recommend investments in technology, equipment, systems, or other assets that will enhance the laboratory’s performance.
• Ensure that effective change management is applied during trials and implementation of alternative processes, methods and establishment of new equipment.
• Evaluate, conduct investigation and correct deviation of QC process, equipment performance and analytical cross-check.
• Method development, review and amendment of SOP.
• Introduction, testing, documentation of procedure, training to QC members.
• Leaderships for Ad Hoc Projects (collaboration with other department) and new grades product.
• Abide to all quality, environmental compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Plan, coordinated and support Lab Supervisor, Day Lab Assistant & Shift Lab Technicians in analytical, safety, and equipment activities.
• Promote and participate in safety, improvement & cost-reduction activities amongst laboratory members.
• Task as assigned by QC Manager.

About you:

• A bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced Chemical Manufacturing QC environment.
• Independent and able to collaborate with different functions.

• Preparations of clients’ corporate tax computations
• Preparations of ECI and Form C/C-S and the filings to IRAS
• Preparations and filings of withholding taxes to IRAS
• Handling tax inquiries and audit from IRAS
• Assisting seniors for other tax related engagements

Requirements:

• Recognised Degree relevant in accounting and taxation
• Possess 1 – 2 years of experience in tax compliance.

• Local or SPR are preferred

Areas and Scope of Responsibilities:

• To ensure seamless and uninterrupted operations for infrastructure and bio-medical equipment in SingHealth Polyclinics
• To support FM Manager to ensure that FM Section and BME Section functioned effectively and efficiently.
• Ensure the codes of practices and industry best practices is implement into the FM Section and BME Section.
• Monitors and takes required actions to improve plant equipment operating efficiencies by tracking downtimes, job completion times and durations.
• Manages facilities & bio-medical equipment incident investigations and recommends systems and process improvements.
• Supervise R&R, upgrading and renovation projects for SHP.
• Ensures adherence to various governmental laws, codes regulations as related to plant operations and facilities.
• Assist to develop formal budget plans of costs; interprets variances; and identifies and initiates corrective actions.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualification & Experience:

• Degree in Engineering/ related fields preferably with experience of more than 3 years or FM related /Diploma in Engineering with experience of more than 7 years
• Preferably a Registered Fire Safety Manager
• Knowledge of related mechanical & electrical, building, communication, etc. systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, esp. Words, Excel.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Meticulous with an eye for details
• Good Team Player
