• Records & follow-up all the topsides design pending issues / problems highlighted by Lead Designers from every discipline, and report to Topsides Engineering Manager
• Expedites the information required by each discipline prior to start & complete the topsides design works
• Monitor 3D model clashing issues with other discipline
• Prepares Weekly Report related to Overall topsides design Progress, Area of Concern, Pending Items, Clashes Register, Interface Register, Down Time Register, Available Resources against Planned Resources, Manhour Usage against Planned Manhour, etc & Action Plan & submit to Topsides Engineering Manager/Engineering Project Manager & GM
• Assists topsides EPM in preparing project close-out, including as-built documentation and engineering close-out reports.
• Tack and coordinate changes with Discipline Leads ensuring team members follow the management of change process (MOC); ensure recorded changes are followed through.
• Proactively identify and monitor areas likely to change to reduce the “surprise” element, added costs and delays to project.
• Coordinate the interfaces with subcontractors and third party consultants and ensure all changes are captured through MOC process

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 10 years working experience in offshore oil and gas project managing topsides design works
• Able to liaise with internal and external parties
• Able to comprehend the strategies, work methods, processes and systems in overall project execution and engineering execution of topsides design
• Highly competent interpersonal and influencing skills to tactfully and diplomatically manage ambiguity, conflict and uncertainty in a culturally diverse environment.

The successful applicant for this position will be joining Purification Development team in Development Services, Lonza Singapore. As a Senior Scientist, you will be able to develop and enhance your technical and scientific capabilities as well as build on your technical leadership skills. You will be involved in hands-on experimental activities as well as supporting projects right from planning to delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Perform hands-on laboratory work in the purification process development team contributing or leading the development of processes suitable for technology transfer to the cGMP manufacturing teams. An understanding of cGMP manufacturing facility constraints and their impact on development activities will be developed.
• Lead the junior scientists in the team for Process Development/Process Validation / Process Characterization activities, including experimental designing, planning, supervising and directing studies.
• Process Characterization activities including Risk Assessment (FMEA), employing DoE methodologies, data analysis and interpretation to define process parameter ranges and process steps.
• Draft and review high quality technical documents- Protocols, reports, SOPs etc.
• Be the project representative delivering high-quality communication to ensure an outstanding customer experience (written documents, telecons, face to face meetings).

Education Experience

Quality Assurance

• Quality Assurance Plan -Overview of QMS.
• Leads, directs a team of Engineers for routine task of QA surveillance, onsite inspection /test and documentation.
• Establish Acceptance Test plan as per CTS & Class.
• Establish FAT plan and review of FAT Supplier's Protocols
• Review and advise the development of HAT test protocols according to the Approved ATP.
• Review of Internal Test records
• Review of Platform Acceptance Test protocols
• Update the status report on FAT, HAT & PAT in the progress meeting

Commissioning of Shipboard Machinery System/Electrical & Automation System and Equipment

• Leads, directs and supervise a team of engineers in preparation of commissioning of shipboard equipment's ensuring the entire responsibility for the completion on schedule in accordance to the protocols.
• Establish and continuous monitoring of Commissioning/ HAT Plan, based on master project schedule.
• Manage resource planning and technical advice for the QA commissioning Team.
• Manage work safety, assigned jobs, risk assessment and productivity of the Commission Team and manage the commissioning job scope with supplier/ OEM within budgeted Man Hours
• Oversees and ensures all construction activities are completed prior to taking up the system for commissioning.
