Duties and Responsibilities:
a) Payroll and Reports
ยท Oversee monthly payroll and conduct overtime validation
ยท Overall in charge of the complete spectrum of HR function
ยท Fulfilment of Government agenciesโ reporting and surveys (e.g MOM, EDB, IDA, WDA etc)
ยท Maintain accurate records and reports
ยท Compliance with regulatory requirement in terms of CPF/Tax etc..
b) Recruitment / Hiring / Onboarding / Compliance
ยท Manage job postings and advertisements on various channels such as company job portal; high traffic flow websites, in accordance with the local regulations.
ยท Conduct interview with hiring managers for executive ranks and certain job personnel
ยท Participate in selection discussion and propose compensation package in accordance to acceptable pay range within companyโs budget.
ยท Conduct reference checks and development recruitment strategies
ยท Management of employeeโs retirement and re-employment beyond retirement age
ยท Design and implement orientation programs
ยท Integrate Safran leadership behaviors mindset to new employees and from supervisory level of personnel
ยท Ensure compliance and implementation of policies and procedures in accordance to the relevant Safran GRPs
ยท Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including tri-partite standards
c) Benefits administration
ยท Review Group employee benefit insurance scheme and its administration
ยท Compliance with expatriate employeesโ health insurance requirements by regulations
ยท Develop employee benefit scheme to maintain market competitiveness
ยท Conduct compensation benchmark and participate in surveys to keep pay-scale within industry range
ยท Design and implement employee handbook; communicate policies to employees
ยท Promote team bonding and sports activities
ยท Implement Health and wellness programs, including annual screening and vaccination
ยท Bring awareness to psychosocial risk and organize events to promote community services
d) Employeesโ Relations / Performance Management
ยท Manage employee conflicts and grievances
ยท Conduct investigations and resolve issues to maintain positive employee relations
ยท Participate in counselling of employees with poor discipline, poor work performance
ยท Propose performance improvement programs, disciplinary action
ยท Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback
ยท Administer annual performance appraisal documentation and process
ยท Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance
e) Employee Development / Communications
ยท Identify training needs and developing programs
ยท Ensure training records are updated in system with certificates and expiry dates
ยท Co-ordinate the utilization of government grants in training/development programs
ยท Provide coaching and mentoring to employees
ยท Encourage employee growth and development
ยท Develop and implement communication strategies to ensure effective communications throughout the organization
f) Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)
ยท Sponsors/support sponsors for various Safran HSEโs standards
ยท Organize and execute HSE programs to meet these standards
ยท Support in programs to meet local HSE legal requirements
ยท Comply with all health, safety and environment (HSE) regulations as prescribed by law and companyโs policies.
ยท Actively participate and contribute to HSE initiatives & Corporate HSE programs and in HSE risk communications & mitigations
g) Any other duties assigned
Requirements for the Role:
a) Degree / Diploma in Human Resources Management
b) A Seasoned HR professional with at least 10 years experiences in HR full scope including management responsibilities
c) A certification in HR domain would be a plus
d) Good interpersonal skills,
e) A team player and proficient in English language, another language would be a plus
f) Familiar with regulatory requirements
g) Proficient in MS Office programs and payroll software
h) Preferably with knowledge within the aviation industry
