Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Do cost planning and budget estimates

• Prepare BQ and tender documents, highlight discrepancies in tender documents and clarify with consultants

• Prepare variation orders, progress payments & claims, and finalisation of accounts

• Source for quotations from specialists, sub-contractors and suppliers

• Take charge of procurement, including compiling of quotations and negotiation with contractors

• Perform cost control to ensure spending is within the budget

• Review and advise Project Manager on the cost impact for variation of project specifications

• Monitor project delivery to ensure materials are in accordance to contractual terms and conditions

• Attend to site visits and clarification meetings

• Handle other duties as required

• Any other QS, Tender & Contract roles & responsibilities other than above

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Survey, Building & Civil Engineering Background or equivalent with minimum 3 years of relevant experience

• Preferably with experienced in pre and post contract administration

• Candidate with knowledge of cost estimation and quantity take off will have an added advantage

• Required skill(s): AutoCad, Microsoft Office & Projects & BIM

• Able to be self-organised, responsible and able to multi-tasks

• Good analytical as well as communication skills (English & Mandarin) – in order to converse and attend site meeting and clarification meetings with Chinese speaking associates and/or counterparts.)

Roles & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Group Supervisor, the Program Coordinator / Community Connector (CC) is to connect with the seniors, the community and partners to empower seniors to age in their community.

• Plan and conduct outreach to raise awareness about centre programmes and services and to enrol new seniors as centre members
• Conduct basic assessment to identify socially isolated seniors and those with needs.
• Collaborate with grassroots, community partners and service providers to build up community network, which includes initiating and coordinating community engagement efforts

Active Ageing to encourage active living and empower seniors.

• Organise activities at Eldercare centre and off-site locations.
• Co-create activities with volunteers.
• Empower seniors to be volunteers.

Befriending and Buddying to prevent social isolation.

• Manage volunteers to provide befriending/buddying services.
• Befriend seniors.

Care and Support to ensure seniors with needs are supported.

• Provide information and referral service and follow-up with referrals made.
• Participate in discussion with case management team to ensure clients are served holistically.

Others

• Support in volunteer management processes e.g. keep track of volunteering activities and hours, maintain volunteer database.
• Administrative duties which include data collection and reporting for reporting and evaluation purposes.

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum GCE 'O' levels, up to Diploma graduates.
• IT literate
• Good communication and social skills to work with different people.

• Team player, yet independent to carry out most functions.
• Strong interest in empowering and preserving the dignity of senior.
• Able to speak dialects will be an advantage as some elderlies are only able to speak dialects

Job Description:

• Handles inbound calls from members of public
• Provide satisfactory explanation to customer and take remedial action where necessary
• Provide pro-active feedback to the customer to ensure that the committed ETA is respected
• Alert superior of recurring service failures so that corrective actions may be taken to avoid future problems

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in contact centre environment and/or service-related industry
• Possess O level/Higher NITEC
• Able to converse with mandarin-speaking callers
• Able to converse in dialects is a plus but not mandatory
