We are looking for an experienced and talented UI designer to design and shape unique, user-centric products and experiences. The ideal candidate will have experience working with stakeholders, UX designers and developers. You will be able to make deliberate design decisions and to translate any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction. A strong portfolio of successful work and other projects is essential.

Role and Responsibilities:

· Be a great team player and collaborate closely with stakeholders, UX designers and developers.

· Create, improve and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods.

· Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to development.

· Conceptualise original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks

· Present and defend your design decisions. All your design decisions should be based on the overall design roadmap as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles (i.e. color theory, visual weight, etc.)

· Continually keep yourself and the team updated with the latest changes in your industry’s standards.

· Collaborate and communicate ideas with other team members and stakeholders.

· Keep abreast of competitor and industry trends, ask smart questions, take risks and champion new ideas.

Requirements:

· 3 or more years of experience and proven track record designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.

· Minimum one year of UX design experience

· Strong portfolio to be presented and defended during interview.

· Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.

· Expertise in standard design software (e.g. Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, etc)

· Basic understanding of front-end languages for mobile applications or web portals or both.

What will you be working on

As a Human Resource Executive, your role will encompass the following:

• Responsible for all HR administrative support in a spectrum of HR activities and processes.

• Oversee the budget planning and HR related programmes e.g. manpower planning, team building activities and etc.

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE N/“O’ level, NITEC, Higher Nitec in any discipline. Diploma holders are welcome.
• Sales or customer service experience is an added advantage.

• Must be able to commit to full-time hours up to 44hr per workweek
• Must be able to commit to 3 night and 1 weekend shifts.

About the Job

We are looking for a dynamic and forward looking professional who has a track record of building employee capability and engagement, full spectrum of HR admin management and improving processes.

Leading a team of 3, you would need build capability in your team and inspire others to improve the way we do things. A strong administrator yourself, you should have experience with improvement projects using approaches such as business process re-engineering, lean management or leveraging on IT to increase efficiency and effectiveness. A strong communicator, you will need to be a team player and work well with multiple parties such as operational heads as well as our HQ colleagues. You will also need to be good at change management and yet patient when change is not able to happen fast. Emotionally balanced, you are able to be firm but yet supportive when needed

Managing your team, your key responsibilities will include general admin to ensure excellent functioning of the CYG corporate support and the meeting of childrens homes licensing and funding requirements, employee engagement and organisational development, full suite of HR administration covering recruitment/retention, maintenance of employee records, supporting DHQ HR in payroll accuracy, talent management and staff development.

Details of key responsibilities are as follows:

1. Lead HR and admin team in a way where processes, admin and HR practices are effective, efficient and of high standards
2. Conduct regular reviews of SOPs and Admin processes to realise efficiency gains and improve effectiveness
3. Ensure that statutory, government and funding requirements of CYG and childrens homes are met for admin and HR.
4. Be a thought partner to the management team on HR and admin matters.
5. Oversee a full spectrum of HR admin including:
   • Support in manpower planning.
   • Recruitment and retention of talent to meet operational needs.
   • Employee relations including staff grievances and displinary issues.
   • Support DHQ in compensation and benefits matters including ensuring accuracy for payroll and benchmarking.
   • Capability development plan and execution.
   • Plan and facilitate appraisal processes
   • HR admin work such as records, reports and training administration.
6. Manage employee engagement and organisational development to enable a positive and conducive culture.
7. Ensure support for management meetings and timely preparation of statistics, reports and surveys.
8. Undertake assignments and projects as and when required.

• Degree in Human Resources Managemant, Business Studies/ Administration/ Management or equivalent.
• Candidate must possess at least 5 - 10 years of similar working experience in a mid to large-size organization with a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Track record in process improvements, employee engagement and/or organisational development preferred.
