The Job:

Resident Management

2) Ensure the resident’s safety, health & good behaviors when they are in the Home and during outings & appointments.

• Monitor the residents to ensure that they are present in the Home, unit or the activity you are supervising (or their whereabouts are known to you when they are not at the Home) and double check, communicate and give permission for residents to leave areas or activities under your supervision when it is requested or required.
• Ensure that they follow and adhere to the structure in the Home.
• Ensure that comfort, personal hygiene, and the safety needs of the residents are attended to.
• Monitor the residents to ensure that they are physically safe and do not partake in any risky behaviour or activities which may cause themselves or others physical injury – especially during playtime.
• Monitor & report to the Assistant Manager and Director of Care & Development of any complaints from residents, family members, volunteers or visitors to the Home.
• Monitor & manage the behaviour of the residents by encouraging & rewarding good behaviour and by preventing, discouraging or discipline misbehaviour in strict adherence to the rules & discipline procedures of the Home.
• You are required to strictly supervise residents, prohibit the use of electronic devices; adhere to a strict locked toilet & “one-at-a-time” policy; teach rules and provide reminders about good touch & bad touch; and check in with residents to flag any behavioural concerns and issues.
• Carry out operational interventions according to Care Plan
• Provide timely feedback on the residents behaviours to the Unit Committee and participate in department meeting, care plan meeting and houseparent meeting.

3) Oversee the healthcare needs of children by being alert to their general health conditions

• Administer basic first-aid as necessary to the children and highlight the child’s medical needs to the enrolled nurse promptly
• Administer oral and topical medication as prescribed by the doctor
• Report children’s healthcare and medical needs to the House Nurse promptly for immediate follow-up actions

4) Others

Billing fees for all students, recons and managing change request through credit note;

Receipts for all students under GIRO;

Communication with Customers, addressing and resolving their queries;

Managing campus transfer, course transfer and long leave;

Manage FPS Insurance by co-ordinating with Insurance company and preparing FPS file for regulators;

Billing for staff child subsidy and manage change request and refunds;

Workdays: 6 days per week

Working hours: 12 hours per day following the shopping mall operation hours

A reputable laundry/dry clean company is looking for a reliable and accountable customer service assistant (counter staff) to operate one of their outlets. You are responsible for the operation of the outlet.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform daily shop operations, including maintaining a tidy and clean shop environment during the opening and closing.
2. Respond to customer queries professionally and follow the job process stated in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
3. Check all the receiving cleaning/dry cleaning items carefully and make necessary remarks.
4. Issue invoices, ensure all payments received are correct, and tally with POS.
5. Check customer’s receipts and prepare all wash/dry clean items accurately for the customer.
6. Input all customers’ details into the system to enable communication with customers as necessary.

Job Requirements:

1. Ability to read and write English and Chinese, as you must write the remarks correctly and communicate professionally with the team at the workshop and dynamic customers.
2. A minimum of 1 year relevant working experience or working in customer service is welcome to apply.
3. Available to work various shifts, including weekends.
4. Good interpersonal skills with a pleasant and confident way of greeting customers.
5. A friendly personality and meticulous working attitude.
6. Capability to work independently and pay attention to detail.
7. Willing to work/rotate between Marina Blvd and Sengkang Grand Mall.

Working Hours (43 hours per work week):

Mon : off

Tuesday - Friday : 1.30pm - 7.30pm

Saturday and Sunday: 9.00am - 7.30pm

Stylist has a minimum of 5-7 years practical experience, can work unsupervised and is therefore more experienced in all aspects of hairdressing than their more junior counterparts. Senior stylists will be expected to carry out bespoke consultations with clients on their needs and advise on anything from hair care to cuts and colours. They are generally confident and experienced in all aspects of hairdressing; cutting, styling, colouring, barbering, highlights, extensions, hair up, foils etc) and can charge clients more for their services as a result.

Entry Requirements

Senior stylists will require a minimum of NVQ level 2 in hairdressing although an increasing number of salons will require level 3 from their senior hairdressers. Senior stylists are also required to have several years on the floor salon experience

Some hair salons may also request or at least have a preference for seniors hairdressers to bring their own clientele (although this is usually desirable rather than essential)
