The Role

Initially, your focus will be on supporting the daily operations of our physical trading business. This will involve managing the end-to-end execution of physical trades and serving as a critical link between senior traders, operations teams, finance teams, external suppliers, buyers, and banks.

As you grow and develop in the role, you will become more involved in identifying and executing new trading opportunities, building and managing key customer relationships, exploring opportunities in new markets, and contributing to the strategic direction of our trading business. Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Market Research & Analysis: Conduct research on market trends, price movements, and supply-demand dynamics. Analyze economic indicators and geopolitical events affecting commodity markets.
• Trade Execution: Assist in the execution of physical commodity trades, coordinate logistics, and ensure timely delivery.
• Relationship Management: Support senior traders in managing relationships with suppliers, customers, and logistics partners. Assist in contract negotiations and pricing discussions.
• Risk & Compliance: Monitor market exposure, support risk management strategies, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Data & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of trades, contracts, and market data.

What You’ll Bring to the Role
