Position: Retail Sales Assistant cum Admin (Part-Time)

Working Hours:

• Mon to Fri: 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Sat: 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM

• 5.5 days a week

Job Description:

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Store Assistant cum Admin to join our team. The ideal candidate will help maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensure products are displayed attractively, and manage transactions efficiently. Additionally, you'll assist the salesperson with basic video marketing tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Store Maintenance:

• Sweep floors regularly to ensure cleanliness.

• Clean and sanitize the store's restroom.

• Wipe down and clean products on shelves to remove dust.

• Ensure products are neatly arranged and presented for sale.

2. Cashier Duties:

• Handle customer transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) machine.

• Ensure accurate collection of payments (cash, card, etc.).

• Provide excellent customer service during checkout.

3. Merchandise Organization:

• Regularly check shelves to ensure products are well-stocked and displayed attractively.

4. Stock Management:

• Receive goods into the POS system when new stock arrives.

• Assist with counting and verifying the stock when delivered.

• Help in periodic stock counts and inventory management.

5. Video Marketing Assistance:

• Assist the salesperson in creating basic marketing videos for promotions and advertisements.

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of POS systems.

• Ability to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the store.

• Comfortable using smartphones for video content creation.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

The Qualifications To Be a Maverick

1. Minimum Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in developing various applications
• Worked in high performance and cross-functional Agile software engineering teams that used practices like Kanban/Scrum/Lean/XP, Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), etc.
• Experienced in using clean code practices, test automation and writing readable, maintainable code
• Good understanding of end-to-end application architecture
• Delivered at least one large-scale project to production
• Experienced in backend and frontend development (e.g. Web, Mobile, Cloud, etc.)
• Deep understanding of at least one programming language and at least one programming paradigm (OOP, FP)
• Experience working with various techstacks (e.g. Typescript, ReactJS, NodeJS, AngularJS, Spring Boot, Ruby on Rails, Javascript, Java, GoLang, etc.)

2. Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Experience with DevOps practices and Automation tools

• Manage operational and escalation/incidents of core services including connectivity, applications and services host in both cloud and legacy bare-metal environments.
• Perform daily backups, user accounts/permissions, maintenance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Support internal support groups and vendors to effectively troubleshoot all customer impacting issues.
• Implement HIPAA security and confidentiality measures to insure compliance prior to original requirement date.
• Re-Design and upgrade MPLS network to increase site to site communications and efficiency accessing corporate data.
• Collaborate with external vendor to design MPLS environment and supervise internal efforts including go live day.
• Preserve assets by implementing inventory control systems, disaster recovery options, back-up/restoration procedures and other internal security and control structures.
• Develop and implement product stress testing procedures and requirements for network base software to determine hardware requirements and concurrent usage limitations.
• Initiate and provide security administration and audits of HIPAA security, privacy and transactions and recommend and implement new protocol standards.
• Monitor UAT at all levels.
• Develop centralized backup solution incorporating off-site disaster recovery solution.
