The Verification & Validation Engineer is responsible for:

• Verifying the impact of System Engineering Change Requests (ECR's) and defining and submitting on-time and on-budget, test procedures and associated scenarios to the System Engineering Manager or Project Managers, in order to verify and validate the system (off-line, simulator and on-line) in the context of Project and or Bids
• Performance testing and functional verification during partial integration [Integrated Block Builds [IBB] testing]
• Carrying out validation tests, in coordination with customer representatives, during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) at the program’s relevant site
• Tracking and validating the Problem Change Report (PCR) corrective actions, in coordination with various engineering disciplines and teams Capturing test results and providing/managing PCR updates in the appropriate databases and applications
• Providing detail reporting of test results and briefing the Management Team (PM + Engineering) and external Customer
• Supporting the Project Manager/Project Team in the delivery of Customer solutions via the on-time, on-budget performance of V&V activities.

In coordination with the Discipline Manager and Solution Engineering Manager:

• Prepare scope and workload estimates of Verification and Validation activities
• Support the personnel engaged in the overall validation of systems, during all phases of the solution delivery/deployment with a focus on Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT)

Purpose:

• To support FUJIFILM Business Innovation Asia Pacific (FBAP), FUJIFILM Asia Pacific (FFAP) and Operating Companies (OpCos) to make use of digital technology (i.e., Microsoft Power Platform, etc) to achieve business transformation through automation and productivity improvement
• To perform the role of DX Technology Subject Matter Expert
• To drive the Centre of Excellence of the DX technologies within the Asia Pacific Region

The key roles and responsibilities are as follows:

• Supports advanced inquiries that cannot be answered by the community. This involves investigating on the issues reported, providing resolutions or workarounds
• Escalate and coordinate with Microsoft and related departments (HQ DX Initiative Department, ICT, etc.) to resolve the problem
• Review and support the design and construction of systems by the DX champions from FBAP departments/Opcos

• To be responsible for running and maintenance of the engine room and deck machinery of the tug.
