• Supervise the delivery of several Consulting projects in parallel, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality, in accordance with IATA Consulting standards.
• Monitor the project economics incl. effort and operating margin of projects under supervision.
• Organize the activities of internal and external resources involved in the projects.
• Act as a key interface to the clients in the delivery of the projects, attending the appropriate governance forums and acting proactively to mitigate risks and remove roadblocks.
• Note: occasionally, projects may take place outside of Asia, at the request of the IATA Consulting leadership.

Take part in project delivery:

• On an as-needed basis, supplement the delivery teams with his or her own expertise and guidance on solving specific project tasks.

​Take part in practice management:

• ​Hold accountability for the NASIA profit center and associated revenue target of IATA Consulting while maintaining a 50% focus (approximately/indicatively) on contributing to the ASPAC revenue.
• ​Manage hiring, commercial partnerships, and travel budget of IATA Consulting in NASIA. Assist the same for ASPAC, in consultation with the IATA Consulting leadership.
• ​Guide and coach junior members of the team.
• ​Maintain his or her own expertise in several areas of relevance to IATA Consulting.
• ​On an ad-hoc basis, contribute to new product development initiatives led by other resources in IATA Consulting.
• ​Attend conferences and produce intellectual property on an ad-hoc basis to increase the brand equity of IATA Consulting in the market.

We would love to hear from you if

• You have a university degree (Master's level at a minimum) in air transport, economics or engineering.
• Approximately 15 years of total experience in air transport.
• A minimum of ten years of consulting experience required in a corporate environment, incl. management consultancies with a sectoral on-air transport, or airport engineering firms.
• Experience delivering aviation consulting projects in Asia seen as a plus.
• Fair understanding of relevant IATA standards such as IOSA, NDC, ADRM, LoS, etc.
• High-level of computer literacy with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access & Project.
• Experience in airport simulation tools is desirable.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to author reports in English.

Job Scope:

• In charge of all the food processing machinery maintenance for grinding, roasting and mixing of spices, riceand pulses
• Efficiently and effectively manage and operate assigned machinery according to the standardized operating procedures, guides and manual for day to day operations
• In case of machine breakdown, should be able handle the situation and do the necessary rectifications. Should be also able to advice accordingly if external parts are required
• Maintenance includes sharpening of grinding plates for grinding machine and also assisting in daily operations of mixing and grinding of spices
• Machinery has to be serviced every week based on production schedule and ensure efficient use of resources and minimization of wastage
• Ensure the correct cleaning and sanitation of machinery are rendered following Good Manufacturing Practices after necessary maintenance is done
• Any other ad-hoc jobs as assigned following the SOPs.

Job Description

The Department of Chinese Studies at the National University of Singapore (NUS) is inviting applications for up to 3 fully funded postdoctoral fellows for 1 year for the Academic Year 2025-26. Postdoctoral fellows are chosen from a competitive selection process. They will spend one year with the department working on research for a book manuscript or articles. In addition, they are expected to deliver a seminar about their research during their fellowship and teach one course for the department. The one-year fellowship period is from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026, and the fellow is expected to reside in Singapore for the duration of the fellowship. The fellowship will be subject to all rules and regulations of the National University of Singapore.

The successful candidate will work with Prof. Mandar Chitre on the research on medium access control (MAC) under space-time coupling mesh-connected networks.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of medium access control (MAC) in mesh-connected underwater acoustic networks (UANs), focusing on space-time coupling characteristics.
• Investigate the impact of space-time coupling on MAC performance, including access capacity and network efficiency, in mesh-connected UANs.
• Design and optimize topology-shaping techniques for mesh-connected UANs to enhance network performance.
• Simulate and test the proposed algorithms and network designs to evaluate their effectiveness in improving access capacity and reducing interference.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to align research findings with practical applications in underwater resource development.
