About the role

The role is within the finance function which covers Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay, GST, withholding tax, support management and MAS reporting.

We are a growing organisation with lean staff strength, hence the scope of activities to be performed by the role will be relatively broad. We are looking for an intelligent self-starter, who has experience in handling invoicing & receivable, vendor bills & payment operation, GST and financial reporting, willing and capable of learning all aspect of business finance.

The job entails working closely within the finance team as well as in close collaboration with business teams.

Responsiblities

Purchase to Pay

• Processes accounts payable invoice matching and verifying with purchase orders, delivery Order/goods receipts.
• Ensure accounts payable invoice and expenses claims are accurate, properly coded and approved by relevant cost center Manager.
• Generates electronics (online) payments to vendors, ensure cheques are authorized and in line with Corporate Policy and processes.
• New Vendor registration to ERP, correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries, reconciling Supplier Statement
• Clear and reconcile unallocated payments in ERP systems
• Ensures completeness of balance sheet schedule every month include reconciliation of payments, prepare analysis of accounts, monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
• Research and resolve invoice
• Prepare journal voucher, ensure timely closing of Expense and Account Payable accounts
• Perform bank reconciliation and recording of transactions from bank activities.

Order to Cash

• Perform Abaxx’s invoicing and reconciliation activities to ensure timely invoicing and collection from clearing members.
• Provide timely updates of collection status and escalation of unresolved issues to business stakeholders for timely follow up and intervention,
• Prepare journal voucher, ensure timely closing of Revenue and Account Receivable accounts,
• Perform bank reconciliation and recording of transactions from bank activities.

Monthly, Quarterly and Year-end Reporting

• Support GST accounting, preparation of quarterly GST declaration for approval and submission for all Singapore entities
• Support withholding tax payments activities, preparation of annual compliance declaration for approval and submission for all Singapore entities
• Responsible for bank confirmation activities in support of annual financial audits
• Support various reporting/compliance activities: management, shareholder(s), MAS

Digital Transformation

• Support the enterprise effort in digital transformation with focus on optimizing internal control and reporting activities

Participate in projects and various management initiatives

Requirements

• Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, accounting degree, accounting diploma
• 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in Finance operation. Experienced in an exchange, commodity house or financial institution will be an advantage

Job Description

• Revamp and upkeep of the Company Careers and LinkedIn website in line with Company ’s latest Employer Brand value proposition.
• Embark on media asset creation (web and print) arising from Company ’s new Employer Brand.
• Launch an Employer Brand campaign (above-the-line and below-the-line) through relevant media buys.
• Identify suitable award categories for Company to participate in to position Company an employer of choice and working with internal stakeholders to prepare audits, articles and award submissions.
• Manage the Employer Brand Ambassador programme.
• Formulate and design a Company Employer Branding Marketing Portfolio. The Portfolio will consist of competitive research and information of our COMPANY employee initiatives and how Company can anchor itself as an innovative employer.
• Coordinate event management for key Employer Branding events, such as networking sessions, learning journeys, career talks and open house.
• Assist the Early Careers (Scholarship) Team lead for the Company Scholarship Programme, including the recruitment of candidates during the annual Scholarship Cycle, onboarding of new scholar awardees and assuming the role of the Scholarship Liaison officer (year-round point-of-contact for scholarship-related queries and assistance).
• Help to ideate, plan and execute early careers projects and events from time to time including but not limited to helping on communications, sourcing of venue, logistic arrangements, managing registrations, database consolidation, and other operational support as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in marketing, communications, social sciences, human resource management, or business.
• Preferably at least 3-4 years of prior working experience.
• Strong communicator (written and verbal) with persuasive and influencing skills.
• Demonstrate some knowledge and understanding of digital marketing platforms.
• Campus engagement experience is a plus.
• Able to handle multiple projects and stakeholders, with attention to details and the ability to prioritize competing demands.
• Able to be self-directed, independent and confident in navigating ambiguity and work processes.

OVERVIEW & IMPACT:
Samsung Display is a global leader in Display technology. The Senior Field Application Engineer for Display team will be main contact window with our Key and Major Customers. The incumbent Work closely with customers and HQ team for problem solving, as well as to provide technical support to the customers during product development stage and analyze failure for design-in/sustaining product. To understand how to validate and analyze failure of monitor, laptop product and able to liaise with respective stakeholders

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

To provide front-line support to customers

Gathering technical requirements / spec from our customers.

Explain and provide details of technical issues to HQ Application team.

Regular visit to develop and enhance relationship with customer.

Assisting customers during qualification and ensure timely development schedule until MP.

Provide pre-sales support and technical presentations regarding product strategy and roadmaps, features, industry technology and competitive positioning.

Collect customer feedback and provide input to Marketing for design requirements, product enhancements, new product opportunities relating to the xdevelopment.

Provide demo & explanation on new products to customers.

Perform or carry out test for display product qualification

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS:

• BS degree or MSC in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
• Field experience or hands-on practice or knowledge of multi-disciplinary system design and development (systems such as electrical, electronics, computerized, mechanical and / or combination of these)
• Field experience of FAE in monitor display industry.
• Strong Ability to speak and write in Korean Fluently
• Understand Display related ecosystem in ASEAN and India region
