- Manage for the month-end and year-end closing activities

- Generate and process accounting reports (i.e., Invoices, Aging, Incentive and Commissions)

Position Summary:

Illumina is looking for a highly motivated, energetic attorney that is creative and strategic with a drive to deliver results in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The primary responsibility of the attorney is to provide legal and compliance support to Illumina’s manufacturing operations in Singapore and, on an as need basis, to Illumina’s commercial operations across Asia Pacific. The attorney will work collaboratively with the regional legal team as well as colleagues from the global legal organization and external legal counsel as needed. This position will be based in Singapore.

All About You

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Provide actionable and sound legal counsel on matters as designated by the Director, Legal, Asia Pacific & Japan. This includes:

• Advising and supporting specific business divisions/functions within Illumina’s manufacturing operations, e.g., IT, Supply Chain and Procurement in their engagements with third party vendors through contract review, drafting and negotiations.
• Working closely with Illumina’s commercial operations and contracts team to review, draft and negotiate terms and conditions on the sale of Illumina products and services.
• Enabling the businesses to be compliant with applicable laws, corporate policies and procedures, industry codes and guidelines by supporting the development of legal documentation in the areas of privacy, anti-corruption and competition and the preparation of training materials.
• Advising on employee relations matters, preparing and reviewing legal documentation as required.
• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating routine transactional documents such as real estate leases, non-disclosure agreements, and master services agreements.
• Developing, reviewing, drafting and negotiating compliance documentation such as consulting, grants, research collaborations, sponsorships, and speaker agreements.
• Identifying and implementing opportunities to increase operational efficiencies within the Legal and Contracts Administration organization through standardization of legal documentation and establishment of better processes.
• Assisting with the monitoring and assessment of external counsel on assigned projects where applicable, to ensure consistent delivery of prompt, cost effective and quality legal services.
• Supporting on corporate secretarial matters as necessary and instructing and liaising with external corporate secretarial services vendor as appropriate.

Preferred Education:

• Law degree from a recognized law school
• Legally qualified to practice in Singapore, Malaysia, Australia or the United Kingdom as preference, open to considering candidates qualified in Korea or Japan

Preferred Experience:

• 7 to 8 years of post-admission experience (both in-house and top tier law firm)
• Ability to identify key issues and consistently apply a high standard of integrity, professionalism, legal knowledge, expertise and business ethics
• Track record in providing practical, commercially focused and value-added legal advice with a “can do” attitude.

Additional Experience:

• In-house legal and compliance experience with a multi-national life sciences company
• Private practice experience in advising the healthcare industry
• Private practice experience in providing general commercial, regulatory, including privacy, competition, marketing and/or compliance advice. Some experience in commercial litigation and general employment law would be desirable
• Familiarity with the US Foreign Corrupt Practice Act, U.K. Bribery Act, privacy and regional employment laws would be advantageous
• Experience in representing a company subject to regulations in the United States would be advantageous

Yishun Health Campus is a network of medical institutions and health facilities of the National Healthcare Group in the north of Singapore. It comprises Admiralty Medical Centre, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and Yishun Community Hospital.

Reporting to the Head of Digital Infrastructure and Operations, you will be part of the team that oversees the on-premises and cloud IT infrastructure. This is a technology management, maintenance, and operations role where you will be the subject-matter-expert and is accountable for the fitness-for-purpose of your area.

You will manage and operate the uptime, as well as operating hygiene of the on-premise and cloud IT infrastructure. You will also work with internal teams such as application teams and cybersecurity teams to maintain the stability and fitness-for-purpose of the IT infrastructure as well as the business systems that reside within.

Your Role:

1. Maintenance and Operation of Hybrid IT Infrastructure

• Maintain the on-premises and cloud IT infrastructure running 24x7.
• Plan, design and execute hardware refactor and software upgrades to ensure they remain fit-for-use and fit-for-purpose.
• Execute routine maintenance such as patching, reconfiguration and other required maintenance.
• Monitor the health of on-premises and cloud IT infrastructure and rectify abnormalities when necessary.
• Manage data backups and replication.
• Execute corrective maintenance and operational processes.
• Manage the software licenses and intellectual property assets and taking responsibility to ensure fit-for-use and fit-for-purpose.
• Manage maintenance support agreements with vendors and ensure they are fit-for-purpose and renewed on-time.
• Develop and maintain up-to-date system documentation such as technical drawings, configurations, maintenance procedures, software and hardware asset inventory, and any other associated artefacts.

2. Management of Cloud Environment

• Manage the cloud environment on Azure and other cloud computing platforms, including production, staging, QA, DR and development environment running 24×7.
• Manage the configuration, provisioning, scaling, deployment, monitoring and security of resources in Senoko’s cloud environment e.g. Compute and storage, Networking and connectivity with on-premises environment, logging and monitoring, disaster recovery etc.
• Manage cloud services and features to fulfil business requirements while optimizing cost and performance, and automate routine processes where applicable (e.g. through the use of deployment templates)
• Implement business systems in Senoko Energy’s cloud environment (IaaS, PaaS or SaaS) or other 3rd party cloud services.
• Monitor cloud resource utilization and take prompt actions to rectify discrepancies.
• Ensure Senoko Energy’s cloud environment follows standard best practices and fulfills the IT policies, data resiliency and cybersecurity requirements.
• Look out for changes to cloud technologies utilized by Senoko Energy regularly. Manage the impact of such changes to Senoko Energy’s cloud environment by taking prompt action.
• Evaluate new cloud technologies to ascertain their suitability and recommend them for Senoko Energy’s use where applicable.

Your Profile:

• Degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent. Diploma holders with equivalent skillsets, certification and experience will be considered.
• Certified Microsoft Azure Administrator (Highly preferred but not compulsory)
• Strong background in enterprise IT infrastructure maintenance and operation.
• Strong understanding across on-premises and cloud infrastructure components (compute, storage, network, security, data, backup, applications etc)
• Intermediate to strong proficiency in cloud environment management (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
