Department

The department is Asset Management. This department is primarily responsible for the management of the operational PBSA properties in Australia, the focus of the department is centred on 4 main objectives, providing our residents an unforgettable journey in our property, budget management, operator management and lastly improving and preserving the value of the property.

Designation and Reporting

The department you will be in is the Asset Management department which is currently split into 2 teams by geographies. Your designation is Associate, Asset Management, and you will report directly to the team head. You will be based in Singapore but are expected to travel to Australia regularly and whenever required. You will be required to work closely with all other departments within the Company as well as our PBSA operator(s) in Australia.

Job Requirements

• Relevant bachelor’s degree in business, Project Facility Management, or Real Estate.
• At least 1-2 years in asset management or related field preferred
• Skilled in negotiation and project management
• Have great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
• Competent in written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical and time management skills
• Be driven, enthusiastic and have a growth mindset.
• Good working attitude and show willingness to learn.
• Able to present himself/herself confidently in front of people.
• Regular Travel is required.

Job Description

• To supervise and coordinate the work activities of cleaning staff in commercial and industrial establishments

• To assign duties, and inspect work performed in accordance with the "Daily Inspection Checklist" to ensure conformance to specifications and established standards

• To investigate complaints/feedback and take corrective actions where relevant

• To upkeep site cleaning supplies chemicals, consumables, and equipment to ensure they are available and serviceable at all times

• To take regular inventory checks of cleaning supplies and maintain all cleaning equipment to ensure seamless execution of daily cleaning activities

• To issue cleaning supplies and equipment to workers and account for quality and timely delivery of cleanliness standards

• To screen and select suitable candidates in order to maintain staffing requirement

• To train new/existing employees and recommend disciplinary actions where applicable

• To prepare timely and accurate periodic reports for superior

• To handle all customers’ feedback promptly and amicably

• To ensure good safety practices in the course of work

Job Requirement

• Basic literacy and ability to communicate in basic English

• Working knowledge of basic computer skills will be advantageous

• Prior experience in leading a team is a must

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact well with clients
