What You Will Be Doing

To work with the Manager, Student Admissions (SA) to manage matters pertaining to admissions of students, challenge examination (CEX) waiver, credit recognition, student admission systems and IT projects.

• Assist to develop and maintain an effective system for the planning of all administrative operations within the department.
• Assist to structure and maintain the department so as to facilitate effective performance by department staff through optimum delegationand clearly established individual responsibilities and objectives.
• To ensure department staff perform their work effectively towards meeting the established objectives.
• To assess and monitor work in progress and assess work performance of staff towards meeting the established objectives.
• To manage the application and admission process, including processing of applications, course offers and acceptance, and appeals forprogrammes.
• To manage the process of verifying applicants’ academic data with MOE, local polytechnics and autonomous universities.
• To manage the acceptance of offer process for all selected applicants.
• To manage the course fee payment of new students.
• To monitor accurate and up-to-date statistics on admissions.
• To assist in preparation of any adhoc statistics request by internal or external stakeholders.
• To assist in the review of policies and procedures pertaining to student admissions.
• To develop and maintain an effective and efficient system for application and admission, CEX waiver and credit recognition.
• To review admission systems regularly to incorporate new policies and requirements.
• To liaise with Campus IT Services department on all admissions and related system enhancements and IT projects.

Job Requirements

• Degree Holder or GCE ‘A’ Level or Polytechnic Diploma with at least 5 years of working experience, preferably administrative.
• Has some supervisory working experience.
• Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese will be an advantage as the role will involve communication with international students from China.
• PC literate, with Microsoft Office Skills.
• Self-motivated, positive attitude and take initiative.
• A good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.

This role will actively identify and hunt key decision makers from targeted customers and leverage lead sources from various AWS marketing, sales, and external databases and help the customers start their transformational journey. DGR will profile, nurture and qualify customer leads by understanding their business issues and proposing solutions to their problems with AWS services. This role is our brand custodian who will support our customers, partners and end-users as they work with AWS and utilize our cloud technology to innovate and improve their business outcomes.

Basic qualifications

• Professional fluency in English and Tagalog, both written and verbal • Experiences in sales or demand generation within the technology sector • Sales/business development experience with Thai enterprise customers • Proven success in managing time and juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly • Clear, concise and confident communicator in-person and via phone • Ability to profile customers from various internal/external sources to attain key business contacts • Ability to listen to customers, understand needs, and ask clarifying/probing questions. • Ability to think logically and structure answers, and ability to deal with ambiguity.

Preferred qualifications

· Degree or technical background in engineering, computer science, or technology specialization (Big Data, Analytics, AI, Digital Transformation, Machine Learning) · Foundational knowledge and understanding of existing and developing technologies that relate to cloud computing · Experience navigating prospective accounts to reach senior executive levels to identify new customer opportunities · Skilled at presenting technical solutions to prospects and customers Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
