Prior field experience in mangrove or coastal ecosystem is a must. The position is expected to begin in Feb 2024 or soon thereafter. The position will be for a period of 6 months.

THE ROLE
• You will be part of a research team that studies carbon dynamics in Singapore’s coastal ecosystems
• In coordination with the other members of the project team (researchers and students), you will help collecting field data on blue carbon stocks and fluxes, with a particular focus on mangrove and seagrass ecosystems.
• Your will spend a large proportion of your time on field work in Pula Ubin and help process field samples in the lab located on NUS campus.
• Support project administration, including purchasing of equipment and consumables, requesting Nparks permits, and preparing of SOPs and RAs
