We are seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join our dynamic, fast growing APAC Reserving team. The role will be based in our Singapore office. The job holder will be a key contributor to different reserving related activities across the APAC L&H business. 

About the team:

The direct team is made up of 12 employees based between the Singapore and Hong Kong Offices and is part of a larger global team based in the main offices internationally.

Key Skills:

• Working as part of the reserving team in performing actuarial valuation of APAC L&H business under various bases (including USGAAP, Solvency II, IFRS17, Local Statutory)
• Preparing the quarterly APAC result review and reporting
• Maintaining documentation of methodologies, processes, procedures, controls and results
• Setting up and maintaining valuation models for responsible LOBs
• Supporting the continue enhancement in processes and controls
• Assisting the Experience Analysis Actuary in performing experience studies to review key actuarial assumptions.
• Developing technical knowledge (product, assumptions, regulation, industry trends) and becoming an expert within the Reserving team
• Providing valuation insights of the industry to various teams (e.g. client partners, claims manager)
• Working with the Operation team to define data requirements
• Supporting the APAC Chief Actuary in ad-hoc projects

• Responsible for the development of sales strategies, aimed at the achievement or surpassing of pre-determined sales objectives for supporting the growth of the business
• Manage large national modern distribution accounts and oversee the expansion of sales, introducing new products/services to clients and organizing visits to current and potential customer
• Manage trade spend and negotiate Client Trading Terms
• Implement Company’s sales policy and adapting it to the client’s situation
• Achieve annual volume objectives pre-established by the Company based on the company’s sales and promotional policy.
• Analyze and follow up of client profitability and evaluate promotion effectiveness
• Work with the “Point of Sales Managers” team to ensure regular and effective activities in the stores, in addition to obtaining the best standards of execution in the channel.
• Conduct Join Business Plan with client to align plan to achieve sales targets and increase brand sales and gain creditability from customers.
• Perform reviews with client to provide visibility of moving forward plan and YTD performance.

What you’ll do:

• Undertake design and study of civil infrastructure work of road work, Sewage, permanent and temporary traffic, drainage and utilities
• Familiar with the latest authorities’ design codes, specifications and requirements as well as submission procedures
• Able to be the design lead communicating and liaise with client and authorities while managing the team members design deliverable of drawings and reports.
• Able to liaise and coordinates with other design discipline/departments as well as managing sub consultants in preparation of drawing and reports for submission
• Able to communicate with clients and approving agencies for purposes of obtaining design information, presenting design intent and options and expediting approvals
• Able to supervise the team and carry out independent review of submission documents

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating and supporting regular reporting and channel performance analysis 
• Support in launching and optimizing high-impact evergreen and integrated campaigns regional Display & Video campaigns across APAC
• Coordinates with external and internal stakeholders on all marketing materials. Assists in the management and dissemination of assets
• Analyzing the results and effectiveness of campaigns to identify insights that can improve future campaign performance
