- Ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries, bonuses, commissions, and other payroll-related payments

- Review and reconcile payroll reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements

- Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees and provide timely and accurate responses

- Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data with other HR and accounting systems

- Stay updated on relevant employment legislation, tax regulations, and statutory requirements to ensure compliance

- Prepare payroll-related reports for management, government agencies, and auditors as required

- Assist in the implementation of payroll system upgrades or enhancements

- Participate in payroll-related projects and initiatives as needed

- Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of payroll data and information

Job Requirements:

- Minimum Diploma / Degree in Human Resources (HR)

- Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll processing and administration

- Highly proficient in Prosoft payroll software/systems and Microsoft Excel

- Strong understanding of payroll principles, taxation, and labour laws / regulations in Singapore

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations

Requirements

Job Scope:

• Lead accounting teams
• Provide guidance to team members
• Handle portfolio of clients, including assignment of jobs to teams and team members
• Responsible for billings and debtor management for portfolio
• Review work by accounting teams
• Managing team workload to meet client deadline

Required experience:

• At least 10 years of experience in outsource accounting and audit, of which a minimum of 4 years of experience in a supervisory/managerial role of 3 or more members
• Proficient knowledge in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
• Good knowledge of Singapore payroll and taxation regulations
• Knowledge and practical experience with various accounting systems
• Member of a professional accountancy body (eg ISCA, ACCA, ICAEW, CPA Australia)
