The Opportunity:

Training, Learning and Development of the Team

• Conducts regular on the job trainings for colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge.
• Records and submits monthly On-the-Job Training hours to Food & Beverage Office before the 15th of each month.
• Guides the departmental orientation for new hires.
• Ensures that colleagues are aware of hotel rules and regulations.
• Ensures that colleagues are trained on fire and safety, emergency procedures and hygiene.

Position Overview

This position is responsible for reporting and reconciling our E-Store accounts on a worldwide basis.  This involves working with very large Excel spreadsheets, so excel experience is required, with V-Look up skills. • Ensure all assigned duties are completed and within the cleanliness and timeliness requirements of the company
• Provide assistance to Cook to do daily preparation of dishes and ingredients, packing and dishing of all meals
• Provide assistance to F&B store in the packing of dry food rations
• Inform Supervisor if there are any damaged and faulty equipment, broken crockery wares, cutlery or items.
• Undertake any other duties assigned by the F&B Manager or Senior Production Chef

Requirements

• Preferably N level education (or equivalent) and above
• 1 year of relevant experience is preferred
• Physically fit
• Basic English literacy is required (reading of menu)

As a Software Engineer in Thales Embedded Product Development Team in ECC, you will participate in the design, implementation, validation and deployment of Embedded Products for major OEM customers.

A week in the life of an Embedded Software Engineer:

• Develop, validate and deploy new software components (for example advance software security mechanism and next generation IoT connectivity protocols) for embedded operating systems targeted for mobile and IoT devices, in applications such as mobile payment, digital identity and IoT connectivity
• Participate to the development of next generation operating systems for future devices
• Being in agile development environment to work closely within team and multiple teams around the world to build great products exceeding customer expectations
• Contribute to continuous product and development methodology improvement

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, or related fields
• Proficient in C/Java programming languages
• 2-5 years of experience in embedded software development
• Knowledge of embedded technologies/ecosystem, software security or Javacard knowledge is a plus
• Team player with good communications and collaborative skills

• Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
• Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
• Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
• Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
• Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
• Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
• Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
• Traveling from the office to various sites as required.
• Proposal of Re-landscaping installation & improvement works to clients.
• Ensuring discipline of workers and safety supervision.
• Preparation of Landscape Design proposals using AutoCAD/SketchUp.
• Cost estimation and Quantity survey of required materials for Landscape implementation or relevant works.
• Able to work on alternate Sunday when needed.
