What a Director, Issuers solutioning and Alias Commercialization does at Visa:

Building a strong Visa Direct card network ecosystem with instant payment capability is the foundation in accommodating launch of new use cases.  However, instant payments between accounts can be hindered by two parties needing to share account information with each other. The usage of a proxy, also known as an alias, reduces transaction friction for users. An alias generally refers to a mobile number or email address used for sending or receiving payments.

As a Director of Issuers solutioning and Alias Commercialization, you will be a leader who understands the strategic, commercial, and technical considerations to accelerate Visa Direct card network acceptance and adoption of Alias payments across Asia Pacific. You will engage with a diverse range of stakeholders in AP markets, regional hub and global product owners to motivate, influence and provide advice or direction.  

Your main accountabilities will include:

• Develop and own go-to market strategy for Aliasing which includes building Issuers readiness and driving commercial success in launching alias payments. 
• Work with regional stakeholders, global product owners and cross functional teams (e.g. sales and business development, in-market products, risk, compliance, client services) to execute against this strategy and achieve the revenue target.
• Identify and provide key insights and trends to our client facing stakeholders with presentation materials, case studies, best practice guides, webinars and trainings.
• Assess market requirements against strategic drivers and recommend appropriate technical, commercial investment, or strategic solutions to solve complex problems or to leverage opportunities.
• Provide direction on commercial objectives and outcomes including agreements, rules and guides, pricing, and exceptions.
• Actively engage and work with issuers, clients and partners in markets, promoting the product value proposition, UI/UX, functionality and integration requirements, adjusting approach as needed.
• Collaborate with sales and business development team to build aliasing pipelines and deployment plans in key priority markets, including determining high potential client targets to deliver revenue objectives.
• Senior management updates and reporting providing overall status including remediation and escalations.

The nature of projects in this role will focus on driving value from Visa’ unique data assets and collaborating with Visa Product Consumer Solutions team to solve their most strategic business problems.   Here are some sample projects

• Engagement Solutions:     Enhance existing Visa loyalty platform data models by embedding various AI solutions and drive cross-functional discussions
• Modern Credential Solutions:          Leverage data-driven solutions to develop case studies, better understand consumer targeting, optimize merchant flows and put together convincing, data-based narratives to sell new visa product solutions to issuer and seller side participants.
• Affluent portfolio optimization:     Design proper analytics metrics to measure Visa cardholders’ performance, size opportunities and derive actionable insights to support Visa Product team on revamp Visa core product value propositions.

The Account Executive will be selling into a focused list of strategic target accounts, you will be entrepreneurial in nature and excel at building pipeline, creating and closing opportunities. By using a consultative approach to value-based selling, you will lead with IFS's award winning products while also having access to the broader portfolio to bring value to our customers. You will use your industry knowledge and enterprise software sales expertise to identify and qualify deals, leading to sales opportunities with our existing customer base.

Responsibilities

· Strong sales execution and continued sharpening of these skills

· Prepare, update, own and execute the Go -To- Market Strategy for nominated industries

· Prepare, own, and maintain Territory Plan for agreed vertical

· Prepare Account Plan including deal action cards, mutual evaluation plans, and power maps for named accounts

· Own the end-to-end sales process including demand generation, understating customer needs, agreeing a mutual evaluation process, owning the RFI/RFP process, building a business case for change and winning business, and utilising resources within a matrix organization to get the job done.

· Work with partners to better penetrate into your accounts, creating joint sales plays that accelerate deal cycles and maximize value while providing strong delivery plans that lead to happy referenceable customers

· 100% responsibility for owning the annual sales targets and delivering as per the quarterly budget

· Continued pipeline building and demand generation activities to achieve 4x pipeline coverage

· Liaison with Sales leadership and Global teams to build a strong internal network and collaboration

· Manage and maintain complete CRM and Account hygiene, at all times, along with sales cadence, administration and reporting to ensure accurate forecasting

You will demonstrate:

· In-industry, enterprise software sales quota-carrying sales cycle delivery across the assigned geographic market within the assigned industries and accounts across the market unit

· An entrepreneurial mindset with innate curiosity and resilience

· Working knowledge of CRM systems and commitment to data hygiene and accurate reporting

· Willingness and appreciation of the sales process including cadence, forecasting and accurate reporting

· A track record of consistently meeting and over-achieving quota

· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and a local language relevant to the market geography

· Comfort working within a matrix-rich organisation, building relationships, and finding support to get the job done

• Assist in Service Management and Quality Management activities on BU and Department level.
• Coordinating within different departments under the BU to ensure various process tasks are handled on time.
• Scheduling, conducting, and participating in monthly QM and SM meetings and taking meeting minutes.
• Follow-up with the respective service teams to update the required information in the OPL within the due date.
• Generate the relevant reports on BU and department level.
• Generate additional reports if requested by PSO.
