This position will look after Transaction Banking Cash Product mainly for internet banking, including payments, FX booking and production support.

This role involves daily cooperation with Tokyo Head Office and system analysts in Japan.

Responsibility of this position also include to leading the team to support these things and educate junior staffs to be able to support independently.

Job Responsibilities

This is a regional cash product development role with the following responsibilities and expected experience:

• To implement solutions for corporate internet banking channel, including regulatory compliance, payments and collection capabilities, strategic initiatives to improve customer experience across all APAC countries.
• To manage the entire product line life cycle, from strategic planning to tactical activities
• To handle internet banking projects, including regulatory projects in APAC will be required.
• To roll out the implementation of real time FX rate booking solution to APAC branches, including integration between internet banking and Treasury FX systems. Domain knowledge of FX rates, execution and workflows, including technical interfaces such as XML, API/SOAP, HULFT will be required.
• To support product positioning and customer demand and guide product development.
• To provide day-to-day production support which includes answering user queries, monitoring applications, reviewing and planning of system changes and server upgrades.
• To provide support system release on weekends, including user testing and production verification test.
• To evaluate product functionalities and performance and propose enhancement to products based on market/customer feedback
• To work closely with Tokyo Head Office including daily discussion with system analysts and product managers in Japan
• To lead in resolving issues across departments and to mentor the junior team members

Job Requirement

• University graduate with degree related to IT/Computer Science or Business or equivalent
• At least 10 years of experience in cash management or transaction banking, including regulatory projects and FX booking system.
• Strong working knowledge of technical interfaces such as XML, API/SOAP, HULFT
• Experience with working in Japanese bank and Host-to-Host solution will be advantageous
• Proficient in Japanese (spoken and written) is advantages as the role requires for daily communication with stakeholders in Japan and discussion will be conducted in Japanese
• Well versed in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint, etc.

Job Description:

1. Handle telephone enquiries and front desk duties.

2. Coordinate with security team on vehicles, vendors, occupants, contractors or visitors entering the premises.

3. Account and recording of damaged items, loss of equipment, defects after the guests’ have checked out.

4. Communicate charges of damaged or loss items to occupants and escalate appeals for wavier to Resorts Ops Manager for processing.

5. Conduct regular inspections to ensure the Resorts are well maintained. To record and report any defect and to engage Facility Management team to schedule repairs and maintenance.

6. Administer resorts’ inventories and office stationery purchases.

7. Assist on issues surfaced up by the housekeeping/security team/occupants in the absence of the Resorts Ops Manager.

8. Assist occupants with basic troubleshooting such as issues with equipment examples refrigerator, air-condition or TV sets.

Other responsibilities:

1. Function as the Point of Contact (POC) for the followings:

​​​​​a. With Laundry Service Vendor - Coordinate with Laundry Service Vendor on the dispatch and collection of dirty linens.

2. Logistics & Inventories

a. Handles linen inventory and purchasing if stock is low

b. Co-ordinate with housekeeping team for the accounting and preparation (example defect detection) of the linens for the villas.

c. Administer villa inventory list amendments (4, 3 and 2-bedroom villas):

a. Facilitate on boarding of physical inventory lists (both normal stores and linens) to online inventory tracking list and accounting of items issued to housekeeping staff or occupants directly."
