About the role

In this role, you will support and grow the Asia and Global Repo Trading business, as well as the development of G4, Credit and Local Markets opportunities across Asia (inclusive of Japan). You will be actively involved and assist in building a Repo franchise flow which creates synergies with bond trading, FX and other Rates Trading desk.
Other responsibilities include:
- Increase revenue in Asia Repo Trading books for government, supra and corporate credit bonds across APAC.
- Manage Global Repo book as one of the leading fixed income liquidity providers across Asia.
- Ensure consistent, competitive and timely pricing/ execution to internal and external customers.
- Help to support the new products buildout globally
- Work with Sales/ Structuring and Relationship to provide repo pricing for clients in Asia.
- Work with other internal stakeholders and external services to improve efficiencies of the Repo Trading capabilities.
*The level of the role can be Associate Director or Associate depending on candidate’s experience

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Knowledge of the Repo Market in general, both Government and Credit Repo across Asia including Japan and international markets.
- Sound understanding of financial market regulation in Asia.
- Understanding of Repo Vanilla and Structured Repo Products.
- Required previous experience in USD High Yield Bond and Repo Trading is preferred.
- Experience in working directly on or closely with JGB, UST and Credit Trading Desk.
- Experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders, working in a team across multiple geographies and time zones.
- Asian language skills are an advantage.
