• Degree/Diploma in InfoComm Technology
• Experience in Maritime Communication Systems is preferred
• Sound knowledge of project planning, accounting and reporting tools
• Able to work in shipyard and shipboard environment

You will be expected to work with the team to provide support as follows

• Managing end-to-end training administration process i.e. registration for courses, tracking of attendance, handling payment and invoices, generating reports.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to identify training requirements and ensure alignment with SILE and organisational goals.
• Support other learning and development work, including logistics, finances, maintaining and updating records, and other administrative work.
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirements:

• A diploma in any discipline
• Strong organisational and project management skills to handle multiple training initiatives simultaneously, manage training logistics and meet deadlines.
• A good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Familiarity with Excel.
• Resourceful, flexible, and responsive in dealing with people.
• Meticulous, with an eye for detail.
• Prior experience in learning and development roles would be advantageous.
• Technological capabilities and an interest in automating administrative processes would be advantageous.
• A good command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin, as you may be required to work with documents in Chinese.

Job Description

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

• Writing and editing a wide range of content to support internal and external communications, including drafting content for social media and internal newsletters;
• Writing and editing submissions to a range of publications, including in particular legal directories and award submissions;
• Organising marketing events such as webinars/seminars, conferences, etc.
• Supporting the strategic planning and execution of digital campaigns on channels including SEO, SEM and social media;
• Providing marketing support to practice groups and regional offices;
• Updating deals platform and partner CVs on a regular basis; and
• Working collaboratively with the business development and regional offices’ marketing teams to ensure the firm is effectively integrated in international cross-practice business development and communications.

• 2 to 3 years of experience in a communications team within a corporate environment preferred.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
