Individual to be involved in:

1. being able to build strong understanding on company's cables and jointers (and other products, equipments) on going project works, procedures with suppliers, engagement with clients, understand all payment method, sales techniques, company's Mission, Vision, main objectives, on site work flow not limiting to following up on work results and other achoc duties; communicating on project matters.

2. Prepare tender document, being able to read and use AUTOCAD System. Liaise and coordinate with other clients and contractors in development and implementation of the project until completion. Trainee will be able to lay new power cables throough underground pipes and terminate them at electrical equipment. Not limiting to conducting tests, troubleshotting, to check cable integrity and locate faults.

3. being able to perform duties such as project work calculations, planning, tender, estimates, costing, taking off measurements for overhead power cables. Preparation/Evaluations as part of the project team (with director and/or collaborating contractors). Base one estimating material, labour, or construction costs for budget preparation.

4. Possess deep knowledge of the business product e.g (cable jointers joint, overhead power cable) offering and value proposition to implement a strategic business plan that expands the company's customer base and ensure its strong presence in the market. This comprehensive sales plan will generally map out a clear route to hitting company's objectives and goals while incorporating different sales techniques and strategies.

Responsibilities

Sample Management

• Responsible for project registration to purchase Sample sets / Competitor sets as well as registration into ALC.
• Collect and maintain samples from branches on schedule. Organize and maintain HQ samples, send for service when required.
• Handle all DHL shipment and payment relating to samples.
• Monitor and track loan units.
• Housekeep Sample Inv / Storeroom & Raise DMs for disposals if not relevant anymore (with support).
• Review and suggest process improvement if applicable.

Marketing Support

• Act as shadow to branch person-in-charge to support implementation of marketing plans.
• Monitor, log errors and follow up with rectifications (if any) for social media content and websites.
• Collect, mine and analyse sales and marketing data.

General Administration

• Meeting and schedule arrangement for regional, team and all other meetings.
• Support for the physical setup of the meeting room.
• Maintain Organization Chart, Group E-mail addresses, shared folders opening/closing according to personnel movement as well as stationeries.
• Other general admin duties as assigned.

Job Purpose

The Regional Head of Ocean Growth is responsible for the overall OFR growth initiatives across the region. The individual guides the regional pricing strategy required to achieve the growth ambition and will drive execution of this into the countries, including the development of relevant value propositions and solution design to support the growth.

Furthermore, the role is responsible for aligning and setting a clear direction for growth in collaboration with the M&S organization. This includes all sales channels – CSI/MNC/SBC, BC, and digital. Driving the product commercial organization around OCC and RDM structures.

Main Responsibilities

1. Driving volume growth across all OFR products in close coordination with OFR Country management and regional product heads. Together with Trade Management, drive the focus on trade lanes and countries as per Trade Lane plan.

2. Ocean Competency Center (OCC)

-Overseeing all large tenders running through the regional OCC as part of the global RFQ process and ensure efficient execution with all stakeholders

-Drives automation within the Tender management set up

-Spearheads RFQ analytics to improve win ratios

-Drives risk-taking analysis & proposals to deliver strategic growth targets

-Simplify country led RFQ’s to increase efficiency

-Drives STP on tender business

3. Senior Commercial Product Engagement
