About Department and Purpose of the Position
Being part of the Marcomms Team in the Ops & Admin Department of the University Surgical Cluster, you will work closely with clinicians, nurses and administrators from both the Department of Surgery and Department of Urology. The incumbent will be responsible for increasing the profile of our services and people to local and international institutions and patients.

Job Responsibilities

• Marketing Communications - Plan and develop all forms of communication materials such as collaterals, newsletter, signages, photography, videos, social media platforms, etc.
• Events - Plan and organise local and international conferences, workshops, seminars, service and centre launches, internal events, etc.
• Media Relations - Work with corporate communications team to formulate media relation strategies, including media briefings, press releases, TV appearances, etc.
• Internal Collaborations - Work across numerous depts and teams within the healthcare cluster to achieve desired outcome.
• Ensure that new tasks and projects assigned are well completed and on time.
• Support QI (Quality Improvement) projects – to suggest new ideas on improving current processes.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor degree preferably in Mass Communications or multimedia
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enjoys writing, basic and logical layout of eDMs and conversant with Microsoft and Adobe software.
• Creative, willing to think out-of-the-box and able to accept alternatives.
• Meticulous and results orientated, have initiatives and able to follow through on tasks.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced, multitasking environment. Yet when necessary, to be able to work with as a team member with stakeholders from other depts/teams.

As a Principal Data Architect for the data transformation team, you will be responsible for defining and delivering the data architecture for major data platform/s for Dyson business and product data. Multiple positions are available.

About the role

• Contributing data architecture expertise into a high-performing digital transformation team that supports the Connected objectives.
• Responsible for data modelling and design across Dyson data systems.
• Responsible for data management across multiple data systems: data governance, data mastering, meta-data management, data definitions, Symantec-layer design, data taxonomies.
• Responsible for ensuring that the business stakeholders understand the value of our connected data and how it can benefit both Dyson and Owners.
• Contributing to the technology strategy and roadmaps for the transformation of data platforms and services across the organization
• Responsible for enhancing the quality of evidence-driven insight from the Connected data. This will include developments to support go to market strategies, new product launches and general health of our owner base within the categories and support data driven acquisition strategies.
• Responsible for design and documentation of data architecture at multiple levels (high-level to detailed) and across multiple views (conceptual, logical, physical, data flow and sequence diagrams)
• Providing active "hands-on" architectural guidance and leadership through the entire lifecycle of the transformation programme and subsequent development projects.
• Translating business requirements into conceptual and detailed technology solutions.
• Responsible for the data governance, working with Privacy and Legal to get the appropriate PIA/LIAs before any data sets are combined/activated.

About you

• Demonstrated experience in an architectural role in a digital transformation programme.
• Experience with GCP, AWS
• Expertise in data architecture and design, for both structured and unstructured data
• Expertise with all aspects of data management: data governance, data mastering, meta-data management, data taxonomies and ontologies
• Expertise in architecting and delivering highly scalable and flexible, cost effective, cloud-based enterprise data solutions
• Experience with visualisation tools (Tableau, Looker), programming languages (R, Python) and DBT and Cloud Composer
• Ability to make recommendations in aid of business strategy.
• A keen interest in problem solving and using scalable machine learning to solve the big data-related problems.
• Effective communication skills to tell the story from the data and present findings to project teams & senior stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to establish and manage effective working relationships in a matrixed organizational structure

• Minimum one (1) year of EUCD Support, ICT End User Computing or Service Desk Agent experience
• Ability to perform the daily EUCD Support operations with minimum supervision
