Qualifications:

Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical and data cable installation, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team of technicians.

Thorough knowledge of electrical and data cabling standards and construction industry regulations, including safety protocols.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with clients, project managers, and team members effectively.

Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and prioritizing tasks.

Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to handle unforeseen challenges efficiently.

Job Responsibilities

• To schedule production and/or procure externally sourced materials in accordance with prevailing confirmed customer demand, ensuring material availability at finished goods warehouse.
• Day to day planning skills to keep track of, and prioritize process orders and/or purchase orders.
• Extensive planning and organizational skills to meet and satisfy customer demand over extended periods of time.
• To make scheduling and/or procurement decisions that will impact customer orders and company stocking policies.
• Day to day planning skills to ensure that raw materials, packaging will be available in time to meet production requirements.
• To continually devise improvements to systems to improve efficiency and the speed of delivery of information from the department.
• Communicate and support the QC department regarding possible material for rework and production and/or procurement changes.
• To attend and play a key role in contributing planning issues in daily and weekly meetings, providing key information in meetings to improve the efficiency and running of the plants and/or procurement process.
• Continually review the production schedule to ensure all forward demands are being met and take appropriate action to add, move or cancel production and/or purchases to minimize working capital.
• Investigate and respond to customer complaints.
• Using MRP review proposed output and make decisions on the viability of turning planned order and/or purchase requisition requirements into firm process orders and/or purchase orders.
• Ensure product compatibility is maintained
• Respond in a timely manner to Escalations taking action to schedule new production if required.
• Effectively communicate the production schedule and any issues arising from it to production, customer service, sales, and manager.
• Assist with other task assigned by manager.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of site manufacturing, processes and products.
• More than 2 years of planning experience in manufacturing environment with SAP systems
• Experience in using Epicor system will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of SAP processes in the Sales & Distribution and Production Planning modules.
• Competent user of MS Office packages.
• Ability to complete tasks to tight deadlines
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Excellent communication and writing skills. Must have written and oral proficiency in the English language.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Good knowledge of contract and QS procedures and pricing.
• Experienced in procurement, budgeting, estimation, contract administration, measurement of quantities & variation orders
• Compile photos, inspection forms and all relevant documents required for VOs attachment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication & negotiation skills
• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
• Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Superior.

Requirement

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil), Quantity Survey or equivalent.
• 3 ~ 4 years of relevant working experience (QS) ; Minimum 5 years & above (for Senior QS)
• Demonstrate proficiency and competency in a project QS function and can work independently.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin is preferable
