Position description

There is an expectation that all Primary Teachers behave in a professional and positive manner and represent role models within the school. They will be familiar with NPSI policies and procedures and will always actively promote and reinforce the NPSI Vision and Mission.

In addition to pastoral duties, the class teacher is responsible for curating, delivering, and assessing the curriculum across the Primary School, as assigned by the Principal, and timetabled by the school. • Keep accurate and timely records of all student’s work
• Follow the school marking policy including setting and returning classwork and homework
• Provide timely appropriate, constructive, and formative feedback to students on their work. Both in notebooks and online learning management systems including My Maths, Seesaw and Firefly
• Prepare formative and summative question papers and a marking scheme as per the requirement of the policies and procedures of the school

Pastoral Care

Performance Management and Professional Development
