Mission

Sanofi is building a new state-of-the-art Biologics manufacturing facility, named EVolutive Facility (EVF), in Singapore. EVF will be a first-of-its-kind, fully digitalized, modular manufacturing facility. The facility will be designed to be carbon neutral and allow for future modifications.

What you will do

Carry out maintenance, service, and repair of all process equipment with maximum degree of safety and quality:

• Process rotating equipment: centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, diaphragm & metering pumps, screw pump, blower and fan, oil mist & lubricant systems, etc.
• Major machines: centrifugal & reciprocating compressors, extruder, gas turbine generator, steam turbine driver, etc.
• Hydraulic system: hydraulic pump, marine and truck loading arms, hydraulic control system
• Maintain proper records of all jobs performed in the SAP application and participate in mechanical related projects and plant modification work

About you

Skills and Qualifications

• For candidates with no working experience – Minimum NITEC in Engineering
• For candidates with working experience – Minimum N Level certification or equivalent with credits (C6 and above) for English, Mathematics and at least one Science subject (Physics, Chemistry, or Combined Science)
• Relevant work experience in the petrochemical or refining industry will be an advantage
• An effective team player with good communication skills

What you will do

• Prepare equipment for maintenance and perform unit start-up, shutdown and plant turnaround activities
• Update operating procedures and prepare job pack documentation for equipment repair
  Perform troubleshooting and to resolve operational issues and provide support for technical and mechanical teams
• Monitor performance to ensure safe and optimal operation of the plant, equipment (e.g. reactors, compressors, pumps and product storage tanks), pipeline distribution network and berth facilities
• Perform structured rounds (field/DCS console) and take corrective action to maintain equipment and plant operations within safe operating limits
• Job role can be assigned to start at either the Chemical Plant or Refinery

About you

Marine Technician Responsibilities:

• Traveling to marina or dock where the vessel is located.

Salary: up to $3,000 Basic + Shift, Meal & Transport Allowances $600++
Work Days: 5 Days (10:45pm to 7:30am)

Responsibilities:
• Ensure all laboratory tests are well managed and performed including testing on raw materials, intermediates and finished products.
• Ensure all laboratory instruments and equipment are maintained and calibrated.
• Manage the inventory of quality reference materials such as QC reagents and lab consumables.
• Prepare daily QC report, relevant work instructions and validation protocol or reports.
• Ensure documents and quality records are maintained for easy retrieval.
• Manage operations towards timely support to meet factory analytical request.
• Develop training to build quality and safety awareness.

Requirements:

THE ROLE

This individual is responsible for execution of compounding chemicals. He should be able understand the flow of mixing and work harmoniously with the group.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• The incumbent manages the chemicals with the objective of minimize the mixing plant downtime, as well as assist technician on the BFS machine in times of shortage manpower.
• This position reports directly to the Chemical Process Supervisor.
• The incumbent works closely with CP Supervisor on matter of mixing priorities, manpower allocation, machinery documentation, and maintaining the cleanliness of the machinery.
• The incumbent is responsible for mixing process.
  a. Need to countercheck raw material needed for the mixing.
  b. Maintain the tanks and surrounding area free of dirt.
  c. Coordinate with group to do inline cleaning in place and steam in place.
  d. Documentation for RMR including bubble point test and chemical weighing.
  e. Regeneration of RO water system
• The incumbent is responsible for mixing flow, mixing plant breakdown and daily routine mixing plant. He should be able to understand the piping system of the plant tank and know to prepare the valves from the mixing area going to BFS machine. Must know how to collect water from the mixing plant going to BFS machine.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in chemical field
• Experience in cleanroom area and pharmaceutical field.
• Able to do 12-hours rotating shifts (4-days’ work week and night shift)
