Key Responsibilities

• Operate the boilers in the depot which include chemical dosage, pre-test of the boiler water and water softener dosage / treatment.
• Ensure boiler maintenance program is followed; liaise with contractors on servicing and repairs of the boiler and related equipment and accessories include returned lines, steam hoses / connections, steam returned lines, steam pressure control valves, water tank, etc and liaise with the Ministry of Labour Factory Inspectorate during annual inspection and feedback to the Operations Manager for action.
• Carry out steam heating in accordance to requirement with proper temperature reading and recording Samples to be collected and labeled. Both laden tanks and samples to be delivered timely and ensure to observe all safety precautions at work and meet OHSE management requirement.
• Observe no dark smoke emitted from the chimney and no chemical / oil / diesel leakage from drums, diesel storage tank or forklift truck.
• Assist to prepare tanks for cleaning.

Qualifications

• GCE 'O' Levels
• Required to have Class 2 Boiler Attendant certificate of competency. For Lead position, Class 1 Boiler Attendant certificate of competency is required.
• At least 1 to 2 years of working experience in the related field

Job Scopes:

• Carry out maintenance, repair and overhaul work on heavy vehicles (diesel, commercial and electric & hybrid vehicle), ensuring high standard of workmanship and minimize turnaround time for scheduled repairs and inspections to meet workshop’s service standards and according to job order.
• Notify Team Leader of unusual repair problems which will require major repair and replacement parts recommendation.
• Adhere to defined guidelines in regards to safety, orderliness and etc.
• Complete work order for each vehicle and unit serviced.
• Perform any other adhoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• NTC 2 or NITEC 2 in Automotive Technology
• 2-3 years experiences in automotive repair and service industry
• Able to read and understand electrical schematic diagram.
• Able to diagnose and repair electrical issue on commercial vehicle. ECU repairing , programming, remapping and component repairing.
• Able to use and troubleshoot electrical/ technical issue with diagnostic tool.
• Able to understand the functionality of the electrical components.
• Preferably with Class 3 & 4 Driving License

Requirements:

• Candidates need to have commercial vehicle service or repair experience (Prior experience working on diesel vans and 10 footer trucks). automotive skillset will be tested during interview. At least 5 years work experience as automotive technician.
• Have knowledge of handling diagnostic tools, interpret and solve fault codes
• Candidate able to speak and write Chinese as candidate is require to communicate with Chinese stakeholders
• Preferably with Class 3 Driving License but not a must.
