• Prepare and analyze cost comparison
• Obtaining quotations, liaising and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers
• Communicate with the management, contractors and sub-contractors on the adjustments to cost estimates
• Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off
• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments
• Conduct the negotiations during the course of the project in order to ensure issues are resolved
• Control project scope to meet project objectives in order to enhance project deliverables and key work activities
• Monitor project costs to ensure the objectives of the project are achieved in accordance to building contract law
• Prepare the cost analysis for the project in order to ensure the overall value is enhanced
• Attend client meetings and assist with determination of project requirements
• Assist the PM in the drafting and issuance of project proposals, RFP’s, tenders, budgets, cash flows and preliminary schedules
• Prepare project organization and communication charts
• Chair site meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members
• Track the progress and quality of work being performed by design disciplines/trades
• Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures
• Liaise with own workers and sub-contractors for project execution
• Track & manage contemplated change notices and change orders in the database
• Prepare and ensure all required project close out documents are obtained
• Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and for developing this attitude in others

Benefits Summary:

• Basic up to $4,000 + Performance Bonus

Responsibilities:

• The responsibilities associated with this role encompass conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs, as well as preparing, negotiating, and analyzing costs for tenders and contracts. The role also involves coordinating work efforts, providing advice on various legal and contractual issues, and valuing completed work while arranging for payments.
• Collaborate with the designer to review construction plans and determine quantity requirements.
• Evaluate costs for maintenance and additional building needs, negotiating with contractors and subcontractors.
• Maintain thorough documentation for all tenders.
• Source quotations and assess quotes received from suppliers and subcontractors.
