• Deploy the necessary resources that are adequate in quantity and skilled in their respective subject matter areas. Analyse project and resource requirements to create labour and machining schedules.
• Communicate effectively and regularly with all project stakeholders – upstream and downstream on relevant topics.
• Manage project documentation by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) standards.
• Other project management duties assigned.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Architecture, or related Engineering field
• More than 20 years of design experience with general contractors. Added advantage to the candidate with experience working with a Japanese contractor firm.
• The Senior Design Lead should possess expertise in designing and developing a series of details of any kind of building.
• Some shareholders and board members of the company are based in Japan, so Japanese language proficiency at level N1 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is a minimum requirement to conduct business, as well as prepare reports and presentations that may be required by the company's management, board, or stakeholders. Similar English skills and knowledge are preferred.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate smoothly with construction team members and consultants.
• Excellent leadership and people skills to bring together people from diverse backgrounds.
