Job Description

1. Policy implementation: Review and update policy on research security and collaborate with research units to implement related procedures and protocols.
2. Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments of research projects and facilities to identify potential security vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies through review of research agreements and related documents.
3. Training and Awareness: Develop awareness/training program for faculty, staff, and students on research security best practices, compliance requirements, and incident reporting procedures.
4. Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders for research security matters. Work closely with various departments, including IT, compliance, legal, and research units to promote a culture of security and compliance in research activities.
5. Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor compliance with research security policy, perform related analysis and prepare reports for senior management on related activities. Support scheduled compliance audit/inspection on research security readiness and mitigation measures compliance and recommend improvements and follow up actions.

Qualifications

• Recognised degree in science or engineering discipline preferred;
• At least 5 years’ working experience in research management/administration or similar roles in compliance;
• Experience in research related functions in higher education sector, or research contracts management will be an advantage;
• Knowledge or experience in reviewing and developing policies and procedures;
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment; strong problem-solving capabilities;

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement a security architecture blueprint ensuring cohesive interaction among applications, infrastructure, and operational security.
• Define processes, provisioning, and interfaces while providing actionable recommendations.
• Execute security vulnerability scanning activities (HCR/NVA/Pen Testing/SAST/DAST) and address identified findings.
• Manage access management and SIEM tools within the organization's environment.
• Facilitate external auditing processes.
• Ensure application-level and OS-level patching and operational housekeeping.
• Execute server and application hardening procedures.
• Uphold IM8 policy, conduct vulnerability assessments, and manage security incident detection and reporting.
• Oversee SSL certificate renewals and other operational security processes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in IT Cyber Security domains, such as Identity Access Management, Security and Risk Management, Application and Network Security, and Vulnerability Management, along with a broad understanding of related areas.
• Proficiency in OS Administration (Linux/Windows).
• Hands-on experience with IBM Security Verify Access and IBM Qradar.
• Knowledge of Thales HSM, OpenSSL, and tools like Tenable Nessus and Burp Suite Enterprise.

Good to Have Skills (Optional):

• Familiarity with Singapore Government standards of security posture, including planning and executing SSAT, Security Compliance Check, and Security Vulnerability Scanning (DAST & SAST).
• Experience in working with security tools and environments.
• CISSP/CCSP/CCSK certification or equivalent is preferred.

The Legal Support Specialist 3 is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. The successful incumbent will be working closely with the Company Secretary and expected to handle the following key responsibilities to provide high quality, professional company secretarial support for all the Singapore entities as well as supporting the Asia South Corporate Governance outsourcing related function.

In this role, you’re expected to:

• Provide comprehensive corporate secretarial support to a number of boards and board committees, including liaison with various stakeholders, preparation of agendas, creation and collation of board packs, taking minutes following up on action points and providing governance advice.
• Scheduling the board and board committee calendars, seeking and monitoring director availability for additional meetings as and when necessary.
• Maintain proper documentation of corporate governance activities and processes, including updating and maintaining the statutory registers and databases for all the Singapore legal entities.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• A recognized tertiary education or an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators with at least 4 years of relevant corporate secretarial experience in the banking or finance industry.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of the corporate secretariat work and corporate governance principle.
