[What we are looking for]

You should have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in the electronics security industry dealing with Device-to-System or System-to-System integration. 

You should have good knowledge and skills in at least two or more of the following areas: 

- Design and development of security systems using Python, C/C++ on Windows, Linux or Mobile (Android / IoS) platforms. 
- Design, install, configure, test and maintain Integrated Security Systems comprising video surveillance, access control and intrusion detection components. 
- Experience in deploying video analytics solutions such as facial / license plate recognition, crowding, detecting abnormal traffic conditions etc using machine learning / deep learning technologies. 
- Experience in designing, setting up and operating of a Security Command Centre 
- Good understanding of networking, TCP/IP connectivity and general cybersecurity practices to ensure a smooth implementation of security projects. 
- Provide theory and practical hands-on technical training of security system products for end users. 
- Professional certifications and experience in deploying automation solutions for security system/operations will be an added advantage. 

Those with good and relevant experience can look forward to Senior Lecturer or equivalent positions, with career development opportunities to leadership positions in the Colleges or Headquarters.

- Design, develop and deliver relevant course materials in On-Premise and Cloud based Networking, System Administration, IT Security, Digital Forensics, Cyber Security, Security Penetration Testing & Operations and Programming

- Facilitate e-learning, enrichment and other self-directed learning.

- Supervise students in project works, competitions, and internship.

- Handle other academic-related duties and administration.

- Be involved in student development and mentoring, outreach programmes and community works. - Engage in relevant research activities for lifelong professional development purpose.

[What we are looking for]

- You should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Security industry, and preferably relevant work experience in the security industry.

- Passion for teaching and student development.

- Knowledge in
• networking concepts such as router, switches, wireless access points etc.
• operating systems such as Windows Servers, Linux, Mac etc.
• security concepts such as firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS, SIEM, IAM etc.
• scripting languages such as Python, Bash etc.

- Aptitude to learn new technologies in the security suite.

About the Role

The role covers public relations (PR) and corporate communications, requiring the manager to be responsible for nurturing a strong news media network; increasing awareness, as well as manage and influence public opinion through a variety of communication outlets to enhance brand or product awareness. This includes advising Far East Organization’s business leaders and setting up protocols for communication.

Responsibilities

1. Lead the planning and implementation of PR and communications initiatives related to the corporate brand and business unit brands to enhance the company’s brand awareness and corporate image
2. Set up protocols, ensure good corporate governance, and tone of voice for all assets developed for corporate communications
3. Develop and execute creative, engaging and effective PR campaigns through translating brand and key messages into media concepts and compelling stories
4. Leveraging a variety of media channels to maximize the company’s brand exposure through press engagement, interviews, editorials, and listings where suitable
5. Build strong and positive relationships with editors and journalists of traditional media, key newspapers and publications, influencers, KOLs, and other related parties
6. Develop and/or edit news releases, speeches, articles and other press and editorial collateral and materials
7. Ensure crisis preparedness for the company. Support the development and implementation of crisis and issues management frameworks for the company
8. Manage sensitive issues jointly with respective business groups and overseas offices to protect the reputation of the company and the employer brand
9. Advise business groups on PR and communication campaign development and execution for a results-driven, multi-platform communications strategy and plan in line with corporate and brand direction while reflecting local priorities

Requirements

1. Degree in Public Relations, Mass Communications, or related fields
2. Minimum 10 years’ experience in public relations and corporate communications / crisis communications.
3. A solid understanding of the media landscape.
4. A strong network of PR and media contacts.
5. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
6. Excellent presentation, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to engage diverse audiences with ease
7. Experience in PR agency and/or real estate industry will be an added advantage

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the installation and proper maintenance of security equipment and systems such as CCTV cameras, monitors and recorders, intruder alarms, motion detectors, glass break sensors, access control readers and controllers, public address system, fire alarm system etc.
• Conduct regular security system reviews and initiate improvements plans.
• Perform security risk assessments, security audits and support during customer audits.
• Conduct security incidents investigations and follow up closely on corrective actions and recommendations.
• Develop security system instructions, policy, and procedures necessary to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in engineering related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in security industry, preferably in manufacturing environment.
• Preferably with working experience in security systems installation and maintenance.
