Job Summary

Responsible for department activities such as undertaking all tasks related to any particular area of expertise i.e. confirmation or development of criteria, specification and project requirements as well as systems and databases.

Responsibilities:

• Consistently oversees all General Civil Works, Structures and Foundations in coordination with the client or the Lead Engineer.
• Normally prepares, evaluates and reviews the criteria, specification and requirements of the General Civil Works, Structures and Foundations of an assigned project, ensuring its completeness and correctness.
• Generally develops a system and/or database in any area of expertise to ensure that all records of past projects are well documented for accessibility and future use.
• Most often function as trainer to educate other colleagues in the department for familiarity and improvement of work execution in area of expertise.
• Ensure technical improvements and required modifications are discovered in accordance to the conduct of a design review.
• Occasionally assumes the Key Person’s role as assigned by the Department Manager in order to ensure that project schedule is met.
• Periodically appraises the members of the assigned Project Team ensuring fairness and acceptability.
• Performs other functions that may be assigned by the Department Manager.

Requirements:

• Graduate of Civil Engineering or other related courses.
• 15 years and above experience in engineering design and/or construction of petrochemical-related facilities with at least three (3) years in supervisory position.

Skill Requirements:

• Computer literate in Windows, MS Office, STAAD and AutoCAD.
• Possesses good oral and written communication skills, with special consideration in Business Writing skills.
• Boasts of sound management.
• Planning, motivating and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of ISO Quality Management System and JPHIL Quality System is necessary.

Job Description (Key Responsibilities):

Key responsibilities for this role include, but not limited to, the management of design, budget, schedules, quality and personnel, as Client’s integrated project execution team for a Land Transport Authority (LTA) project.

Other responsibilities:

• To perform day-today management of an LTA construction project;
• To oversee site quality and safety issues;
• To determine any non-conformances on works;
• To liaise with the Contractor to rectify any non-conformances and document them properly;
• To ensure that decisions on site issues are conveyed to the Contractor within a reasonable timeframe;
• To ensure that works are carried out according to specifications, drawings and programme without compromising on quality and safety;
• To manage quality and safety matters and suggest quality improvement measures for implementation on site;
• To supervise the installation of instrumentation and monitoring of instrumentation;
• To lead a team of supervisors to ensure full time supervision of works on site
• To assist in the operating of the PMCC
• Other duties as and when assigned

Job Requirements & Person Specification (Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Behaviours)

• Minimum Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering / Construction Management
• For Senior Engineers at least 5 years' relevant experience in a project / construction environment including but not limited to transport / tunnelling / underground structures.
• For Project Engineers at least 2 years’ relevant experience. Fresh graduates can be considered on case-by-case basis.
• Previous experience of working on Land Transport Authority (LTA) projects in Singapore will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in relevant software programmes for planning and project work is advantageous.
• Experience in C&S, geotechnical tunnel or viaduct design will also be an advantage.
• Strong leadership qualities with good analytical and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Manage and drive z/OS Unix (Mainframe Access Management operations and audits).
• Lead the completion of z/OS initiatives such as MFA and straight through processing for IDM processing requests.
• Automate manual processes through scripting or via zSecure.
• Possess strong knowledge of designing and reviewing RACF access groupings.

Key Requirements:

• At least 8 years of experience working in a z/OS environment including experience with REXX, Assembler, COBOL, JCL, TSO/ISPF
• Install, configure, and upgrade z/OS and subsystems using SMP/E
• Monitoring system performance and perform system tuning
• Technical support for z/OS and subsystems including engagement of IBM and vendors for problem determination and resolution
• Experience with IBM z15 hardware and peripherals, able to perform hardware configuration changes using HCD/IODF
• Experience with system automation and scheduling tools such as IBM System Automation, Netview, IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler(OPC).
• Familiarity and support of 3rd party software such as FileAid/Expediter, IBM Omegamon, RMF, ChangeMan
• Solid experience in mainframe security, RACF access controls, IBM zSecure, MFA
• Provide process automation support and maintain SOP documentation
• Support backup/recovery and disaster/recovery planning and testing
• Support periodic system configuration reviews and audit reviews
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience with zLinux and zVM will be advantageous
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent. A major in IT security or related areas would be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Mainframe Security (RACF) administration/operations provided by z/OS UNIX system services (USS), CICS, DB2, and WebSphere MQ with hands-on regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Good to have strong experience with using zSecure Admin and zSecure Audit modules.
• Good working knowledge of Access Management lifecycle and processes.
