We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Assistant to join our team and contribute to our translational research program. This program integrates genomics and proteomics technologies to drive clinically relevant discoveries in the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of these cancers.

As a Research Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting various research activities, including experimental design, data collection, and analysis, as well as laboratory management. You will collaborate closely with our team of scientists and clinicians to help advance our bench-to-bedside research pipeline, translating laboratory findings into potential therapeutic interventions for haematological malignancies.

Job Summary

Cancer Science Institute of Singapore (CSI) is establishing a new research lab under the leadership of Dr. Zhou Yilong. The lab will focus on RNA biology, cancer, and immunity.

We are seeking a highly motivated, dedicated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to contribute to the lab's cutting-edge research on RNA-protein interactions, biomolecular condensates, and the role of RNA helicases in cancer. In addition to research responsibilities, the Research Assistant will play a crucial role in commissioning the lab, setting up essential equipment, and ensuring operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cancer Biology, or a related field.
• Prior experience with lab setup, equipment management, or commissioning of research facilities.
• Strong skills in molecular biology techniques (e.g., RNA isolation, PCR, cell culture, CRISPR).
• Knowledge of RNA biology, cancer biology, or immunology is advantageous.

Job Responsibilities

Work under the supervision of Broking Managers in providing broking support to the team for Marine Insurance/ Financial Lines/ Trade Credit/General Insurance placement. Candidate is expected to support the team administratively while also picking up the basics of the various classes of insurance.

1. Liaise with clients and prospects to understand their insurance needs and advising them on the

2. Obtain relevant underwriting information from clients for submission to underwriters for quotation and
