Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

· Liaise with the stakeholders (e.g. NUH Finance, lab, kitchen, etc) and coordinate related finances and logistics

· Attend trial-related initiation, close-up and other trial related meetings

· Plan, organise and co-ordinate trial study activities workflow

· Complete Case Report Forms (CRFs)

· Handle data entry and validation of study data

· Label and dispatch specimens to the relevant laboratory as in the condition as specified in the trial protocol/lab manual

· Label and store specimens in the condition as specified in the trial protocol/lab manual

· Trace laboratory and diagnostic reports (if any)

· Assist the investigator(s) in adverse events / serious adverse events reporting

· Maintain drug accountability logs

· Document and tabulate financial payments received and / or made to support the study

· Return all trial materials to sponsor company at the end of the study

· Maintain confidentiality on trial data

· Maintain Investigator Site File and ensure that all study documents are complete and up to date.

· Assist investigators in the screening and recruitment of potential patients/healthy volunteers as according to trial protocol

· Assist investigators in obtaining informed consent

· Perform venepuncture and cannulation as required according to trial protocol

· Assist in the preparation/administration of medication intravenously (IVM)

· Maintain and update screening log & enrollment logs

· Schedule appointments for patients/subjects

· Ensure patients’/subjects’ compliance to trial medication (if any)

· Maintain confidentiality on patients’/subjects’ data

· Perform Code Blue Emergency procedures* on collapsed subjects/patients

· Provide regular trial updates to investigators/ sponsor companies and IMU Manager(s) for trial-related issues

Perform administrative duties as assigned by the Managers/Director

Requirements:

· Qualification: Diploma/degree in life sciences, diploma/degree in nursing, or equivalent preferred

· Minimum 2 years of clinical research experience preferred

· Good understanding of ICH GCP E6

· Motivated, self-driven and able to work independently and meticulously

· Good written and communication skills. Ability to speak other languages and common dialects will be an added advantage

The Singapore Population Health Studies (SPHS) is a population-based health research initiative at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore. SPHS aims to investigate the interactions between lifestyle, physiological, genetic and other omics biomarkers and their impact on health and longevity. In addition, SPHS will serve as a platform to monitor risk factors in the population and gain insight into determinants of health-related behaviours. For this purpose, SPHS includes over 50,000 adult Singaporeans and long-term residents from three major ethnic groups (Chinese, Malay, and Indian), for a better understanding of disease aetiology in urban Asian settings, and the development of improved preventive and therapeutic measures for Singapore and other Asian populations.

JOB PURPOSE
This role primarily involves the recruitment and data collection activities of the research projects under the SPHS unit that will contribute towards the building of a population health research biobank for Singapore.

Duties & Responsibilities
1. Take consent from research participants before performing any research procedures
2. Perform basic assessments that include measurements of blood pressure and visual acuity, fundus photography etc. and enter data into the correct electronic form via a tablet. Keep to a turnaround time of 8-10min per participant.
3. Perform spirometry and keep to a turnaround time of 10-15min per participant.
4. Minimise the waiting of participants by directing them to next most available test station.
5. Encourage participants to perform procedures to meet the required standards to ensure that the data output is good to use for research.

Job Description:

A Haematology-Oncology Research Group (HORG) Clinical Research Coordinator plays a critical role in the conduct of cancer-related clinical trials at the National University Hospital (NUH), with a satellite site at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. He/ she will assist the Principal Investigator in all manner of clinical trial activities, from recruitment, screening and coordination of trial-related procedures, and contribute to maintaining the high-quality, world-class clinical research that defines NCIS. j) To label and ensure biological specimens are delivered in the correct conditions as specified in the trial protocol.

k) To assist investigator(s) in adverse events / serious adverse events reporting.

l) Creation and maintenance of all trial files, including the trial master file, and oversight of site files.
