Workplace safety and Health Coordinator (WSHC)

- Ensure the provision of the Workplace Safety & Health Act and any Regulations made there under are complied with;

- Promote the safe conduct of the work generally within the worksite;

- Promote good safety & health practices;

- Familiar himself with the Main Contractor’s Safety Management System;

- Inspect and rectify any Health, Safety & Security (EHSS) Non-compliance's at site;

- Ensure compliance of the in-house rules and regulation on safety, health & security by the workmen on site;

- Spend EHSS promotional activities to site team on weekly, based on the activities

- Conduct weekly tool box meeting to workmen;

- Ensure all administrative records; documents are timely submitted to the Safety Section (e.g. PPE, PTW, Security Pass Applications, SWP, Risk Assessment, etc.)

- Ensure to conduct In-house training to work team,if required special skills(SDS, Manual handing,etc)

- Alert team members of emergency situations and potential escalation of incidents and accidents.

- Carry out initiatives to support WSH programmes

- Conduct safety inductions and orientations. For new staff/work team on boarding to site

Environmental Control Officer (ECO)

- Prepare and submit a Site Environmental Control Programme to the occupier of the construction site at least three weeks before work commences on the worksite on deadline for the occupier to submit the Site Environmental Control Programme to the Director-General of Public Health;

- Inspect the construction site to ensure all facilities and equipment relevant to the maintenance of environmental health are in proper working condition and do not pose any environmental health hazard;

- Point out and discuss environmental health irregularities such as mosquito and fly breeding, rodent infestation, noise/ dust/ smoke/water pollution, poor housekeeping, earth littering, poor refuse management, poor maintenance of sanitary facilities, etc. with the occupier of the construction site and recommend measures to rectify such irregularities;

- Attend to all feedback on such irregularities and inform the occupier of the construction site accordingly;

- Report and submit a Site Environmental Control Report to the occupier of the construction site once every monthly

- Assist the authorities to investigate outbreaks of infectious, vector borne or food-borne diseases on the construction site;

- Organize campaigns, training courses and other activities to develop and sustain the interest of workers in maintaining good environmental health standards in the construction site.

- 8. The Environmental Control Officer (ECO) is responsible for introducing Environmental Awareness to all Workers / Staff at Site.

- The role of an ECO is to advise the occupier of the construction site on what needs to be done.

ü-problems or are likely to cause environmental health problems. He should report these conditions/ situations to the occupier of the construction site together with recommendations on remedial measures to be taken to prevent recurrence. The main areas where the ECO should pay attention to are:Disease-bearing insects and rodents;

- Proper disposal of construction waste/ marine clay;

- Noise, air and water pollution;

- Earth littering;

- Siltation of drains;

- Food hygiene in canteens;·

- Proper maintenance of septic tank(s)/ holding tank(s), chemical/ portable toilet(s) and other sanitary facilities; and Any other environmental health matters, such as wash bays, silt traps etc.

Earth Control Measures Officer (ECMO)

- Specific responsibilities and duties of the Earth Control Measures Officer shall emphasize on the following main areas of concern:Implementation of Earth Control Measure (ECM) Plan according to the QECP’s design

- Familiar and experience to lead the project team to achieve the PUB Environmental Impact Workshop. These environmental impacts arising from the construction works and proposed mitigation measures are: Noise, Earth Control Measures (ECM), Biodiversity, Air Quality, Vector, Solid Waste, Waste Water, Land Contamination, and etc.

- Work closely with and assist the Qualified Erosion Control Professional (QECP) and other stakeholders on all matters related to the earth control measures for the project site

- Devise the effective operation of earth control measures for the project site
Develop & implement a maintenance and inspection programme for the project’s earth control measures

- Update the QECP on any irregularities related to the project’s earth control measures which may require the QECP to enhance and/or re-design the ECM Plan Any other matters related to earth control

- Responsible to attend to, manage and resolve all feedback/irregularities with the relevant internal/external parties

Position Summary:

The Project Coordinator organizes, executes, and coordinate the projects events and administration work. This position will report to the head of PMO and support the project managers to comply the internal project standard. The Project Coordinator will have the exposure to join the global IT project implementation and work with different nations and culture in ASM.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the project onboarding process, ensure the internal compliance, contractual filing, and project site setup
• Coordinate with finance for the project accounting, support the budget and expense tracking
• Support PMO to implement the standard process, documentation, and project templates
• Organize and coordinate key meeting and events, ensure the invitation, agenda, minutes and the logistics setup
• Responsible for project status consolidation and the PMO dashboard update
• Support project data analysis and prepare reports
• Support the User acceptance test, helping to create test script
• Assist the training manager to prepare user manual and conduct training
• Follow up the project issues and the action owners for the status update
• Coordinate travel and accommodation work
• Support the vendor onsite process, ensure the administrate, safety and security

Qualifications

• At least a Diploma in Information Technology/ Computer Science or a related discipline
• Min of 4 years of project coordinator experience in the IT software industry, understand the project event setup, like Blueprint workshop, UAT & training
• Familiarize with project management life cycle and project data analysis
• Excellent in MS Excel & PowerPoint application
• Experience in MS TEAM, SharePoint, and OneNote is preferred
• Understand the global work environment and be flexible to support other time zones
• Fast learner: Agility thinking and eager to learn, able to practice the new knowledge/ skill in a short time
• Communications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, of managers, and subject matter experts.
• Work under pressure: good at multi-tasking, well organize and able to work under deadline
• Peer Relationships: Can quickly find common ground, is seen as a team player and is cooperative; easily gains trust and support of peers; encourages collaboration
