Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Pipeline Development:

4. Data Governance and Security:
   • Ensure data quality and reliability by implementing data validation, cleansing, and integrity checks throughout the pipeline.
   • Enforce data security best practices, ensuring that sensitive data is appropriately protected and compliant with regulations.
   • Implement data governance policies to manage metadata, data lineage, and access controls.

   • Analyze and optimize query performance on large datasets, ensuring fast data retrieval and minimizing costs.

Qualifications:

• Fresh graduates with Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, working with large-scale data systems.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or other programming languages used in data processing.
• Knowledge with cloud-based platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with distributed data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Data Engineer to help us build out and manage our data infrastructure, which will need to operate reliably at scale using a high degree of automation in setup and maintenance. The role will involve setting up and managing the data infrastructure plus building new systems where required.
