Overview

The System Engineer (Resident Engineer) provides the Management and Operational Support to customer on-site.

Job Description

The on-site network FM service provide operational support for system operations which includes but not limited to the following systems:

• Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services support including DNS, GPO.
• VMWare vSphere, vCenter & VDI support.
• Server Backup Operational support (perform regular backup and backup verification activities).
• Patch Management support (rollout of server patches).
• Antivirus deployment support (rollout, support, and monitoring).
• Cloud services operational support (AWS, Azure, Microsoft Office 365, etc).
• General Server support including health checks (mostly based on Microsoft Windows 2012 Servers and native services).
• Process changes requests (service requests).
• Assist in updating the SOP.
• Generate regular reports of resources.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in supporting FM Services for solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• AWS / MCSA certifications will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in setup and maintenance of MS Exchange / Sharepoint will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix will be an added advantage.
