JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Support profitable growth of BU Equipment in the AP region in terms of suitable product management from the idea to the development, up to marketing and sales for the product portfolio
2. Help to develop and implement a global product and solution portfolio including a specific product strategy ensuring clear differentiation between internal products as well as towards competition. Coordination of the fade-in (product launch) and fade-out (product decline) processes for products of the responsible product portfolio.
3. Evaluate local market feedback incl. market & competition analysis and describe possible solutions to market requirements
4. Initiation, organization and supervision of development projects. Drafting of specification sheet and functional specification including the related documentation based on a defined development process and tools (KPIs)
5. Active daily management of the responsible product portfolio based on customer demand and satisfaction including controlling of profits as well as operational excellence improvements
6. Manage possible product relocation projects
7. Follow-up on equipment quality issues together with QC
8. Support on implementation of products into SAP system
9. Support AP sales team with technical queries and proposal of solutions incl. relevant marketing material and being involved for customer related “special orders”
10. Find and exploit synergies for Lifecycle and Digital (Hybrid,…) products
Collaboration with external (customers, suppliers) and internal departments (RDE, SPL, LCS, FI/CO, QC) and other product managers globally
REQUIREMENTS
1. At least 8 years management working experiences with multi-national company at a similar position.
2. Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics or any related degree
3. Knowledgeable and experience in customer care
4. Preferably experienced in the Corrugated, Paper, Print or Packaging related industry
5. Adequate knowledge of Product Management procedures
6. Dynamic, proactive, and Customer oriented.
7. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
8. Good communication in English, Chinese and preferably a third language
9. Ability to work independently
