As the Bar Manager at Violet Oon, you will lead the bar operations with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing beverage sales. This role requires strong managerial skills, industry expertise, and a proactive approach to enhancing bar performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Guest Experience: Oversee the entire bar operation to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience from arrival to departure.
2. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety, sanitation codes, and regulatory rules set by government agencies.
3. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed beverage sales targets, including effective upselling techniques.
4. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, minimize wastage, conduct regular inventory checks, and oversee stock ordering and storage.

Minimum Qualifications / Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Food & Beverage Management or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in bar management, preferably in a high-volume establishment.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, and beverage trends, with a focus on quality and innovation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of driving sales, managing teams, and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Purpose and Scope

• Responsible for overseeing energy management practices in an organization. The role is critical for ensuring compliance with the requirements of the ECA, which aims to improve energy efficiency in industries and businesses.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain an Energy Management system (EnMS) in alignment with the standards specified by the ECA and Establish energy objectives and targets based on the organization's energy use patterns.
• Conduct or oversee regular energy audits to identify areas for improvement in energy consumption.
• Identify significant deviations in energy use and address them promptly to prepare and submit energy consumption reports and performance assessments as required by the authorities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Energy Conservation Act requirements, including mandatory energy reporting and energy-saving initiatives.
• Oversee the submission of annual energy consumption reports to the National Environment Agency (NEA) or other relevant authorities.
• Develop strategies and recommend technological solutions to reduce energy consumption and enhance energy efficiency.
• Conduct training for employees and key stakeholders on energy management practices, the importance of energy efficiency, and the implementation of energy-saving measures.
• Analyze energy performance data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization and use the findings to propose energy-saving strategies and set realistic energy targets.
• Integrate energy management into broader sustainability goals, aiming to reduce the organization’s environmental footprint.
• Track and manage energy-related costs to optimize spending and reduce overall energy expenditure and recommend financial strategies to support energy-saving projects, including investment in energy-efficient equipment or systems.
• Ensure proper documentation of energy-saving projects, energy performance data, audit results, and compliance reports to maintain an energy management database for continuous monitoring and future reference.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Environmental Engineering or other related studies.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in a plant environment.
