Requirements:-

• Possess engineering experience in Mechanical/Electronics, or equivalent
• At least 5 years experience in relevant or related field

• Technical knowledge and hands-on skills on monitoring, troubleshooting, servicing, maintenance and tool recovery
• Able to work under pressure
• Experienced In Assembly, Automation, Testing / Soldering / Machine Alignment (eg. Perpendicularity) preferred

Responsibilities:

• To adhere to prevailing Company SOPs including service KPIs.
• To carry out indoor and outdoor service jobs (commission, repair, troubleshoot, inspection, modification, warranty checks).
• To investigate customer complaints (product defects, failures or non-conformance) and recommend solutions.
• To issue customer outdoor and indoor service reports.
• To disassemble cancelled units for stock return.
• To provide service and maintenance training sessions on product usage for customers.
• To perform routine maintenance and repair work on inverters and gear motors.
• To report discrepancies if any.

Requirements:

• ITE (Mechanical Engineering) with 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Basic proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory.

Work Conditions:

• Must be comfortable working outdoors in order to repair and service inverters and gear motors.
• Must be willing to be on standby for after office hours for service activiation, with OT payment.
• Must be willing to commute to clients' site for servicing. Transport reimbursement is provided for commute between the office and client sites.
• Work-at-height is required at some clients' sites.
• Must be open to occasional overseas work on adhoc activation basis.

Purpose and Scope

• Able to perform corrective Mechanical Maintenance for all Power Plant Stationary and Rotary Equipment located in Banyan CCP3 and BWWT as assigned by Mechanical Engineer /Supervisor.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections as per daily maintenance schedule; attend defects, breakdowns, including the repairing and calibration of Mechanical Equipment.
• Conduct disassembling and assembling of Mechanical Equipment and of Gas turbine, Steam Turbine, HRSG, BOP and BWWT for repairs/rehabilitation.
• Hands on experience of valves, pumps, compressors, piping, safety valves, control & shutoff valves etc
• Assist the Maintenance Mechanical Engineers to troubleshoot/ fault diagnosis/ failure analysis to determine cause of failure.
• Assist the Maintenance Mechanical Engineers to develop Risk Assessment and mitigation measures for every Maintenance job in the plant
• Apply for Permit to Work (PTW) as the Competent Person (CP) for every Maintenance work in the plant
• Supervise contractors and liaise with other maintenance crafts and operations technicians to execute maintenance activities
• Withdraw and prepare spares from warehouse for job execution.
• Prepare daily updates on Maintenance activities for the day to all stakeholders (operations)
• Successful candidate can be appointed as part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) (training will be provided)

Qualification, Skills and Experience

• Min ITE in engineering field
• Preferably minimum 3 years of experience in the relevant maintenance fields in a power plant / petrochemical industry

Process Technician

Our client is a leading global manufacturer of polymer. They are currently seeking for Process Technicians to operate and monitor their manufacturing process.

The role of the Process Technician includes:

• Operate the process to meet the conditions specified in manuals/instructions
• Operate the process equipment at site in accordance with operation plan.
• Take measures to improve production status and equipment performance on productivity and quality after approval of shift senior technician
• Patrol plant process, confirm the condition of process and equipment and report disordered matter to senior shift technicians.
• Prepare and organised patrol records.
• Take a sampling for analysis of products and process evaluation.
• Report all incidents, near misses, deviation from plan and take part in further investigation when required.
• Assist in coordination of daily maintenance planning and participate in maintenance activities and shutdown/start-up of sections.
• Provide support for maintenance group /quality control group if any problem arises.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma or NITEC in Chemical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience in chemical plant. The experience in polymerization unit and extrusion unit or a minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing plant such compounding or extrusion is advantageous.
• Possess basic knowledge of maintenance, chemical engineering and analytical procedures.
• Experience in operation via DCS systems is advantageous
• An effective team player with good communication
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
