Summary

Hub Operation Supervisor reports to the Assistant Manager Baggage,frieght, provide real time support to manage the distribution of Changi Airport’s common-use assets, such as Arrival Belts and the Departure Racetracks. The Hub Operation also closely coordinate with the Baggage Officer-In-Charge who provides ground presence in the Baggage Handling Area (BHA)

Responsibilities:

• Implementing the seasonal schedule by ensuring the relevant parties update the operational database with real-time data.

• Building the daily arrival belt and departure racetrack allocation using the RMS, resource management system and ensure that belt capacity is balance and will not cause any congestion.

• Providing real-time information to stakeholders (airlines and business partners) necessary for the efficient and optimal operations of facilities.

• Preparing various reports, such as Sitrep, for internal and external stakeholders

• Manually updating Baggage Information and Flight Information Displays.

• Troubleshooting multiple, often simultaneous, scheduling conflicts as they arise.

• Coordinating with Engineering Baggage Control Room and or Baggage OIC for any real time operational changes and challenges in the BHA.

• Ensuring Arrival Hub operation Presentation performance and mishandling rate are met or exceeds KPI.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma with any relevant education.

• Experience in an airline/airport operations environment (preferably 2 years of experience)

• Must have strong problem solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to develop and foster effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Airline/airport scheduling experience an advantage, preferably with gate and baggage scheduling systems

• Extensive computer knowledge and experience, and the ability to become proficient at new software systems.

• Coordinate daily inbound/outbound shipments and material handling.
• Handle documentation for deliveries, goods received, and material handling (Delivery Note, COA, Invoice, packing list, etc.).
• Assist with physical stock counts and inventory checks as needed.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and facilities.
• Support the Manager in supervising the warehouse team to ensure safe, efficient operations, including inventory accuracy, DIFOT, FIFO, and 5S standards.
• Monitor stock movements and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure consistent inventory management and supply.
• Help identify hazards and improve warehouse processes.
• Ensure compliance with OSHAS, 5S, and ISO safety standards.
• Prepare inventory and activity reports as required.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks and special assignments as needed

Requirements:

• Forklift License is required
• 1-2 years of experience in related industry
