·       Control raw materials inventories.

Job Requirement:

·       Minimum 10 years polymer or petrochemical plant experience.

·       Ability to lead people in a supervision or lead role.

·       Exceptional knowledge and application of all safety rules and safety processes required in a chemical plant.

·       Experience in the operation of chemical plant equipment (such as distillation columns, heat exchangers, pumps, instrumentation systems, extruders, and continuous stirred tank reactors).

• Assist in overseeing the Production department and manpower schedule
• Assist in managing production orders fulfilment
• Monitor and manage manual and automated production lines
• Process loose goods into packed items for outgoing deliveries
• Perform quality checks on production inputs and outputs
• Assist maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment
• Assist in inventory management and periodical stock taking
• Perform good housekeeping and ensure safe practices and orderliness of the workplace
• Perform production administration, documentation and reporting
• Work closely with other departments such as logistics, warehouse and administration
• Provide any other operations support and ad hoc duties as assigned

• Reporting to Internal Audit Manager

• Plan and execute internal audit activities - operational and compliance audits

• Review integrity of operational data and compliance with established policies and procedures and / or applicable laws and regulations

• Identify internal control weaknesses, operational issues and business inefficiencies

• Recommend appropriate solutions that can address root causes and add-value to the Company based on best practices and corrective actions

• Prepare audit work papers to support audit test work and conclusions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or Business, or equivalent (such as ACCA, CA)

• Other professional certification (CA/CISA/CFE/CRMA) would be advantageous

• At least 1 year of proven experience in internal audit, risk, compliance and governance role in a commercial company

• Exposure to regulatory requirements (financial reporting, human resources, tax, EHS)

• Independent, self-driven and willingness to travel overseas to conduct audits or related activities (if required)

• Experience with SAP would be advantageous

• Excellent oral and written communication skills; highly analytical with strong attention to detail
