Job Description

• To generate, maintain and further develop sales forecasts for allocated customers’ accounts.
• To develop a new customer base through cold-calling, relationship management and industry contacts to maintain strong account relationships with the customers.
• To work cross-organizationally to co-ordinate pre-sales, professional services and support resources to drive successful solutions for customers.
• To achieve sales quota through identifying and gaining business from customers or new prospects and ensuring customer’s satisfaction through the products and services provided.

• To participate in development of value propositions and to negotiate successfully to close sales.
• To report on customer activities and general market activities at weekly sales meeting review.

Job Requirement

• Minimum 2 to 3 sales experiences in the relevant IT industry.
• IT Product Solution knowledge in Information Technology.
• Strong presentation and negotiation influencing skill.
• Excellent communication skill in both written and oral.
• Track record of consistent sales quota achievement and must be results driven to achieve target.
• Possess the ability to understand business problems that the prospects are resolving and able to qualify sales opportunity.

[What the role is]

You will work within the International Affairs Branch of Meteorological Service Singapore (MSS), Business and Strategy Division, to advance Singapore’s interests in meteorology and climate science through strategic international and regional engagements.

[What you will be working on]

The job scope will include but not limited to the following:

• Supporting the strategic development, implementation and review of MSS’s international and regional engagements masterplan
• Provide support for regional capacity development programmes in the meteorological and climate science domains
• Identifies possible initiatives and topics to forge collaborative partnership and cooperation arrangements with strategic partners
• Supporting MSS’s hosting of events, meetings and visits from strategic partners
• Support Management’s involvement at regional and international meetings
