Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Or Equivalent.

Min 1 Year Relevant Experience In Automation Machine Design.

Ability To Change And Interpret Mechanical Drawings.

Able To Perform Assigned Tasks Independently Or Though Team activities.

Self-motivated, high Resourceful And Organized.

Knowledge Of SolidWorks 3D Cad Software.

Good Team Player.

Able to supoort night shift if required.

The Role

The candidate will play an important role as Technical SME in the development team to support the digitization projects using BPM / Workflow system. The candidate is expected to be involved in all technical aspects of project delivery and/or maintenance from assessing requirements, assessing technical solutions, developing solutions, testing to system implementation. The candidate is also expected to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyse, design, develop, customize, implement, and maintain the assigned systems.
• Work closely with Team Leader to gather requirements from the customer, perform technical impact analysis and estimate effort for development.
• Prepare and/or update and review technical documents.
• Manage offshore development teams to ensure technical standards and quality are met.
• Perform code review to detect any potential coding problems.
• Perform unit test and system integration test, support user acceptance test.
• Prepare release procedure and support production implementation.
• Troubleshoot issues and problems to provide workarounds.
• Perform root cause analysis and come up with preventive measures.
• All other duties and tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology with min. 5 years' experience in software development using Java technologies (J2EE, Spring Framework) and front-end technologies (JavaScript/Angular/AngularJS), preferably in a bank or financial institution.
• Experience in working with offshore team is an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience in deploying, and maintaining, cloud-native Java applications on Microsoft Azure is an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience in Newgen BPM system preferred.
• Good knowledge in SDLC methodologies (Waterfall and/or Agile).
• Good presentation, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated.
• Ability to contribute individually and collaborate well in a team.
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership.

We’re looking to add an Engineer, R&D (Firmware) in Singapore. The position will be based in our HQ in Ang Mo Kio.

As an Engineer, R&D (Firmware), you will:

Responsible for design and development of MCU firmware for innovative products used in industrial and consumer markets, from invention to production.

The key responsibilities are as below:

• Design and develop firmware for innovative industrial and consumer products.
• Coding and debugging MCU based firmware including bootloader, device drivers and applications.
• Generate and maintain design and test documentation.
• Support development and verification of the software design as per the Software Life Cycle process.
• To assist Electrical and Mechanical teams in providing special Firmware for various Engineering Verification Testing activities.

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Computer/Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field. Fresh Graduates are welcome!
• Experience in firmware development tools and environment will be an added advantage.
• Familiar with C/C++ programming language.
• Knowledge of embedded RTOS.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Meticulous team player with good analytical and leadership skills.
