Your role involves:

• Experiment with and evaluate new products and tools
• Create/ Improve on the Smart Home integration system
• Manage the operations and maintenance (O&M) of the EnOS™ Platform and all services it provides.
• Manage automations of Home Assistant platform
• Integrate devices into the Smart Home system for clients
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with the platform/ hub, so as to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Guide clients in familiarising with the Smart Home system

Responsibilities

• Handle customer support, commissioning and servicing on assigned company products.
• Responsible for servicing assignments for Southeast Asia region, maintain relationship with existing clients.
• Carry out workshop testing and technical preparations, ensure assigned tasks are excuted on a timely basis as per required quality standards.
• Generate service reports, update drawings, cable information database and other relevant documents.
• Provide remote guidance/ technical support to customers, commissioning team and project management of refit/retrofit projects, as well as back-end support to the service teams.
• Assist sales team on providing solutions to technical issues.
• Handle pre- and post-administrative work.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by line manager where required.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Electronics/ Electrical/ Instrumentation or a related discipline.
• Above 3 years of relevant experience in Maritime/Marine industry.
• Onboard ship experience handling automation systems (control/ propulsion).
• Strong knowledge of Integrated Control Monitoring System (ICMS), propulsion/steering control systems, system processes, distributed control systems and power management systems .

- Build robust program for data extraction with failure retry with various queries (restful API, GraphQL, etc.)

- MUST have strong experience in SQL Programming, database design and dealing with large volume of data.

- Set up and maintain data warehouse for new product in-line with company’s growth

- Set up and maintain git workflow and control the deployment of code

- Review and audit database change to implement good control

- Review and optimise code from team member and coach others to write more efficient code

Requirements:

- Major in computer science, computer engineering, data analytics or other related technical field preferred

- At least 5-7 years of experience in data related fields
- Strong experience in developing with Python and SQL

- Solid understanding data modeling, indexing strategies, and query optimization

- Experience with distributed computing, parallel processing, and working with large datasets

- Strong experience in data lakes (integration of different data sources into the data lake)

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows

- Experience in using Apache Airflow, DBT, Clickhouse, MongoDb, GCP and/or AWS will be an added advantage

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
