• Responsible for examining and verifying original voucher if significant issues are noted, closing account, reviewing of financial statements, preparing consolidated financial statements for CUL overseas companies.
• Preparing budgets according to HQ's requirements and performing rolling budget analysis under the instructions of the Group finance department.
• Providing the P/L analysis on TP lines, Mediterranean lines, and Intra-Asia.
• Executing cost management and monitoring expenses reimbursement in accordance with the Group’s policy.
• Supporting Group CFO to improve the process of internal controls and advising how to improve the working efficiency and controlling the risks.
• Any other duties assigned by the Management.

To be successful in this role you will require the following:

Education and/or Experience

• Minimum 5 years of working experience, inclusive of 4 years of managerial experience in shipping industry is preferred.
• Big 4 audit experience is an advantage.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (essential).
• Familiar with the knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is a must.
• More than 3 years of relevant working experience in the shipping industry is preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Chartering Manager is accountable for managing and leading a team to achieve the chartering business's objectives. The ideal candidate will include managing resources and risks, as well as negotiating with multiple parties concerning bunkers, port and time charter activities. RESPONSIBILITIES

Purpose of Role
