Production Manager

Our client is a MNC chemical manufacturer company. They are currently seeking for Production Managerfor plant operations.

The role of the Production Manager includes:

• Supervise effective working of production personnel and prepare effective production schedules and ensure compliance to all company policies.
• Carry-out a steady and efficient production, delivery product in time and in quality manner.
• Be part of all troubleshooting and improvement process of the plant.
• Day to day management (handover and takeover) of the technicians (both production process and packaging).
• Lead on deviation and root cause investigations
• Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process, setting processing variables and observing control points and equipment.
• Effective participation and contribution in Quality Management System (QMS) such as GMP and other Quality standards, creation of standard operating procedures (SOP), work instructions (WI) and records/forms, In-Process Control (IPC) analysis, deviation and CAPA management.
• Responsible to facilitate the review of Manufacturing Batch Record and Packaging Batch Record.
• Manages SAP in terms of batch closure, inventory, purchase requisition, work orders and other related activities

Jobs Description:

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Bar Manager, Mandala Club, is responsible for the strategic direction, planning, leadership, creative vision, implementation,

measurement and reporting of the full Beverage function of the Club. The Bar Manager is fully accountable to the Beverage Director of the Mandala Group and the General Manager of the Club.

It is an extensive role requiring an accomplished and creative professional. The Bar Manager must take holistic ownership and deliver game-changing commercial and reputational performance.

KEY OBJECTIVES & DELIVERABLES.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a position based out of Mandala Club premises in Singapore.

1) Delivery of business performance

● Under the direction of the General Manager of the venue and of the group Beverage Director, ensure that business performance remains aligned to the annual budget with all operations and creative activations aligned to ensure the delivery of commercial targets.

● Full development and costing reporting of the beverage menus to ensure the gross profit targets are achieved.

● Measurement and evaluation (M&E) to be documented and completed for all menu development exercises and presented where required.

● Leading the beverage team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel.

2) Full ownership of the beverage program. Delivery of fully planned and expertly crafted menus that demonstrate originality, creative flair, and an understanding of ingredients.

● Devise a comprehensive 12-month activation calendar, including guest shifts, media activations, guest speakers, cocktail competitions, and hosting leading industry speakers.

● Create menus tailored to the brand guidelines that are innovative and well-balanced.

● Preserve excellent levels of customer service through service training and implementation of the venue-specific cycle of service guidelines.

● Design exceptional menus in coordination with the creative team.

● Purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements to the product mix.

● Identify customers' needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns

Job Summary:

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and evaluate restaurant-specific plans for sales and profit growth, and achievement of quality and manpower allocation in alignment with area plans.

• Collects and analyses business performance data and prepares required reports for the monthly business review and other presentations
• Checks alignment of local marketing programs and other sales building initiatives, SBU/RBU/District/Area-wide initiatives
• Oversees new product launch, its implementation, integrates desired product sales mix in suggestive selling and in-store sales building initiatives
• Performs competitor checks and develops response proposals to the Area Manager
• Checks compliance to cash control and inventory management standards (i.e. inventory, cash control, GR compliance, PCV checking)
• Uses Corporate Audit parameters in compliance-checking; includes cash and non-cash auditing
• Develops cost control initiatives
• Conducts SLA review to assess service provider’s performance and communicates feedback to the Area Coordinator
• Performs production, service and channels management activities, prepares/facilitates admin tasks as assigned during the shift
• Checks FSC and GSC compliance of the restaurant; develops and implements action plans with the Area Manager for identified deviations
• Recommends renovation/civil works for restaurant facelift and equipment replacement
• Acts as Pollution Control Officer (PCO) and tracks monthly FSC feedback, analyses results and provides product/service improvement recommendations
• Handles customer complaints resolution based on standards and elevates when needed; analyses complaints and develops action plan, implements and monitors execution; ensures customer recovery and records in the CRM
• Prepares and monitors implementation of the Management Team schedule; reviews and approves the timekeeping data per cut-off
• Handles processing of employee movements of the Crew Leader and Senior Crew
• Prepares and implements the restaurant's Succession Plan
• Conducts performance evaluation and student trainees
• Creates the subordinate’s development plans based on competency assessment and individual performance; implements L&D and coaching plans, and monitors achievement of developmental objectives or milestones
• Identifies key talents among the team; develops a career plan for those identified as key talents
