• The overall in charge of the whole operations of the company including logistics/warehousing & office/admin matters

• To handle clearance of overseas incoming shipments

• Liaise with Government Department like Customs, Quarantine, Labour, Manpower recruitment both local & also overseas

• To plan and supervise all deliveries by trucks and also inter-coastal shipping (in containers)

• To negotiate best rates for shipping freight, haulage and part for vehicles maintenance, etc

• To ensure efficient deployment of manpower and oversee the warehouse & office staff

• Manage company social media platforms and website. Exploring new media for advertising and branding
• Able to conceptualize, develop & implement strong marketing strategies to bring in new targeted customers
• Produce marketing materials to support the sale of products and services, including copywriting, proofreading and design creatives

• Achieve monthly KPI given by the management

What you will do:

In this role, you will be instrumental in the ownership, planning, creation and execution of strategic communications and will serve as the communications partner to members of our APAC leadership team, specifically for the Southern Asia and Pacific (SA&P) region, which includes India, Southeast Asia and the Pacific. Your broad knowledge of effective communications channel strategy and measurement, coupled with excellent writing ability, will be assisted by a curiosity to learn the operational practices of a global diversified technology and multi-industrial leader, and reach employees from desk-based roles all the way to sales and service technicians in the field.

Working with the wider communications team, you will strive to continually evaluate and improve our processes, resources and communication technology and messaging, for all employees, regardless of role and location, while bringing new and innovative ideas to the table.

Internal Communications

• This role is instrumental in supporting the planning, creation and execution of strategic communications channels, content and metrics for the SA&P employee audience, including supporting transformational change projects and executing engaging communications to improve our Organizational Health.
• Create engaging, creative and targeted employee communications that align with business goals.
• Leverage communications to support action plans as an outcome of employee survey results.
• Drive consistency in communications processes, including measuring effectiveness, while continuing to innovate.
• Research, write and edit a variety of internal publications in several formats.
• Provide communications support for large-scale events including webinars and live broadcasts.
• Maintain relationships and projects with vendors as needed.
• Collaborate with marketing communications, media/public relations and digital teams to leverage existing content.
• Understand business needs and collaborate with APAC communications, marketing and PR colleagues to strategize, develop and deliver effective integrated company and product messages to be used in thought leadership forums, digital marketing, marketing communications, public relations or events, with special focus on SA&P.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
• Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
• Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints

Requirements and skills

• Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role
• Proven customer service experience as a manager
• Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
• Familiarity with restaurant management software, like OpenTable and PeachWorks
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
• Acute financial management skills

Key Responsibilities

1 – Commercial Management of Client X Account

a. Margin improvement opportunity identification through Commercial deep dives (scrutiny of contract terms, P&L and client activity). Improvement plans signed off by Account Exec team and linked to financial forecasts and risk and opportunity process. Compliance improvement and/or risk mitigation actions also included.

b. Opportunity realisation through execution of improvement plans e.g.

• Negotiate, agree, and execute contract variations, including for Project Management on account.
• Settle disputes, pursue entitlements and defend claims (including within supply chain as a point of escalation).

c. Deliver Commercial Programs on Client X account including deployment of specific and relevant commercial initiatives proven to positively impact margin across Client X contract.

Success criteria:

• Account margin growth and precedents set for sustainable long-term profitability.
• Account margin deterioration avoided, and downside risks mitigated.
• Client satisfaction

2 – Commercial Best Practice

a. Contribute to the ongoing improvement and raising the bar for commercial and contract management process and tools across Client X account. Participate in functional workstreams/teams across the wider Commercial Excellence organisation where applicable, leading the thinking and delivering on action points.

b. Provision of up-to-date Contract Exec Summaries and commercial guidance materials for the on-account teams.

c. Deliver on-account training bespoke to terms and lifecycle stage of the Account contracts, both internally and client facing.

d. Maintain exec sources of contract data, locally and aggregated. Review and interpret said data to provide management insight and benchmarking.

Success criteria:

• Commercial acumen enhanced across the Client X account team.
• Margin opportunity identification originating freely around the account – development of a commercial culture across the CBRE account team.
• Business controls (policies and processes) serve to protect and enhance margin e.g. optimised contractual change control processes.
• Management insight on commercial factors readily available when needed.

Person Requirements

Essential:

· Degree qualified or equivalent. All degree subjects considered.

· Ability to demonstrate relevant knowledge, skills and experience, with typically around 5+ years in a comparable commercial role, including but not limited to contract negotiation and on-going account management (up to 2 of the 5 years could be performed as part of a structured training program or graduate scheme).

· Strong commercial acumen and proven ability to affect sales and profit figures.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with fluency in English.

· Strong analytical skills and a measured approach to decision making, including good understanding of management accounts, in particular P&L.

· Self-motivated individual, experienced and comfortable with complex problem solving and providing solutions based advice and guidance to multiple stakeholders.
