As the Regional Data Privacy Officer for Asia, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with local data privacy laws and alignment with group-wide policies. In this VP-level position, you will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and monitoring data privacy practices and policies, acting as the primary contact for privacy-related matters in Asia.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure that company policies comply with local data privacy laws and group policies.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for data privacy issues.
• Develop and update data privacy policies, guidelines, and procedures, consulting with relevant stakeholders.
• Lead and/or participate in responses to data privacy incidents.
• Conduct data privacy self-assessments to identify gaps and implement remediation actions.
• Oversee the data privacy impact lifecycle, including cross-border data transfers.
• Design and implement training programs for staff involved in data handling and processing.
• Foster a culture of data privacy and compliance across the organization.

Experience & Qualifications:

• 8-10 years of experience in data privacy and protection, specifically within financial services.
• Proven experience operationalizing data privacy initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of local data privacy laws across multiple jurisdictions, such as PDPA, PDPL, PIPL, and Personal Data Ordinance.
• Background in legal, audit, or risk management is a plus.
• Professional certification in data privacy (e.g., CIPP/A/E, CIPM, CIPT) is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.

Job Purpose:
The person will conduct agency reviews and trend analysis to identify potential gaps and areas for improvement, and implement enhanced framework for the distribution reps so that they can conduct proper sales advisory processes for their policyholders and provide them with quality advice and suitable recommendations.

The Job:
• Provide support for day-to-day operations by assisting in the team’s functions

Requirements:
• Degree holder and above in related discipline (Banking/ Business/ Finances/ Accounting)
preferred
• 1-2 years of compliance / audit experience in Financial Services or insurance industry would be an added advantage
• CMFAS qualification (M5, M9, M9A and HI) would be an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
• Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
• Meticulous, professional, able to work well independently and as a team

Job Description

• To perform all functions related to the Executive Floor operation and guest relations to create and upkeep a pleasant experience for guests by rendering warm and personalized services at all times.
• Assign rooms for VIPs, EC guests and preferred corporate guests and liaise with Front Desk for efficient control of rooms.
• To perform check-in/check-out duties at the Reception.

• Escort guests for check-in at the reception counter or check-in VIPs or preferred corporate guests in room.
• Highlight the main perks to guests and promote in-house facilities.
• Ensure smooth operations during the breakfast and cocktail hours which include the following:
• - Liaise with F&B Department to ensure that breakfast and bar are ready for Executive Club usage before the operational hours and all set up is done according to the Hotel’s established standard.
• - Provide services and attention to Executive Club guests during the operational hours.
• - Liaise with F&B Department for clearing the chafing dishes and other equipment.
• - Ensure that the cleanliness of the Executive Club Lounge is properly maintained.
• - Ensure all crockery, cutlery and napkins on the dining tables are properly set up based on the established standard at all times.

• Ensure that luggage of all guests is properly taken care of upon check-in and check-out.
• Count and balance cash float and perform proper handling of cash based on the established procedure.
